Suprising Stay
This is actually one of the better places I have stayed in a long time! The room was modern and VERY well equipped! Even down to the last detail! GREAT shower which was nicely powerful. Yes when you travel often it is the small things that matter! The food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. I would definitely book here again! Can I also say that the staff an absolute assett to this place! They were ALL refreshingly polite, helpful and quick at serving considering it was busy for dinner.

We had a fantastic two night stay, very warm welcome by the team and great service. Food is excellent and great menu. The room was very comfortable and especially liked the large shower, with really good pressure.

Lovely
The outside exterior could do with a fresh coat of paint it gives a very false view of the inside of the pub and rooms which were very modern and lovely. Food was excellent and service very good at breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing and relaxing stay
Such a relaxing and amazing stay. Had everything and more in room; little touches very appreciated. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much for them to do for you. Made me and my daughters stay very special. Breakfast was beautiful and left very full. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Will definitely stay again.

Made to feel welcome from the minute we booked in. Staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and boutique with huge gilt mirrors,quirky lighting a huge modern tv beautiful shower room. The restaurant evening meal was impressive. Would definitely use again

Great Inn with superb food and staff
Great Inn with a lovely friendly welcoming feel. Staff are attentive but in a relaxed way. Food was superb and it’s obviously a very popular place for families and couples alike. We stayed for 3 nights and would have given 5 stars but the pillows were really thin and hard. There is also a really irritating sensor light in the bathroom. If you need to visit the bathroom in the night you’re completely woken up by the bright light which also floods the bedroom in light.

Check if kitchen open
Check if kitchen open the evening you stay . We found out few hours before check in that kitchen closed so we had to drive to Aylsham to eat . We had wanted to eat at plough as both could then drink as no driving needed . The manager did give us some money towards our meal which was an appreciated gesture However further disappointment when we returned from our meal the pub was closed - about 8pm . We had planned a drink in the bar when back and had not been advised this was going to be closed Understand off season and mid week if not busy not worth being open but do tell the customers you do have so they are not disappointed

We both had a great night's sleep in a warm comfy bed. The dinner and drinks were really good and breakfast was amazing. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely book to stay at the Plough again.
