Incredible location. Walked everywhere with two young children, including the beach, multiple playgrounds, coffee, market, and ice cream next door. Property is old but very clean. Private drive, beautiful outdoors. Would absolutely stay again.

Very clean and excellent location. Easy walk to town area of Fish Creek. They maybe should mention there's no soap for when you shower. We went to the store!

The cottage was nice and veryyyyy cozy, I think it said a pull out couch bed but it was more of just a module couch, if you are using it for another bed. The only concern is, the floor could give away in certain spots at any moment, I had to walk on my tippy toes in heels. It is a great location, very walkable. If you go when its cold out, be prepared to be woken up every time the heater kicks in. Its terrifying. If there were some upgrades, it would be the perfect spot.

The cottage is away from Hwy 42 by rough 1/2 block which was great. Easy parking. Very small cottage which was fine. The shower didn’t drain, however the host responded immediately and had someone clear it out the next morning. The bathroom had an unusual oder during our stay. Again, small cottage, tiny bathroom. Despite the small footprint of the cottage, it was difficult heating either bedroom without leaving doors open and turning on the fans to circulate the air. Overall, it suited our needs. Clean, easy access to Hwy 42 and within a very short walk to Julie’s Cafe.

We booked this property mid May when many places are already full so we were grateful to find a free cottage. Being at the heart of Fish Creek made it easy to stroll to restaurants and drive through the beautiful state park just a block away. It was also a 2 minute drive to PenArt where we were taking an art workshop. We had privacy and were on a lovely stretch of the creek with chairs set out to relax and take in the wild life along the creek. It was a perfect place for me and a friend!

The check-in and check-out process were all done online through messages, which was convenient and easy. The cottage was extremely clean, there were no cobwebs in the porch area even. However, it appears the foundation is sinking, there were cracks along walls and the ceiling. The floors were angled, which was dangerous. I'm surprised the cottage passed inspection. Everything else was great and it was very convenient having a small kitchen stocked with utensil. It's also walking distance to everything in Fish Creek. It's right next to Not Licked Yet (ice cream shoppe).
