Came to the Black Bass for an overnight getaway. Was blown away by the room we got, the River Suite was beautiful, and the view of the river was fantastic! There was a little balcony you could enjoy coffee or drinks on. The room was cozy and comfortable, and we were blown away by the bathroom and the claw foot tub! Will definitely come back in the future!

We stayed in the Black Bass Hotel’s only cottage that was right across the street from the hotel. It was very roomy, quiet and clean. The only thing that I did need was a stool to help me get on the king size bed. It was so high and I am only 5’2”. They had a bus buy from the restaurant bring over a step stool. The restaurant’s service and food was outstanding. The general store across the street served a delicious breakfast! It was a great stay!

The Black Bass is extraordinary! The comforts of modern luxuries (bedding, lovely bathroom) with the style and patina of history. We loved the River 2 suite with its patio overlooking the footbridge across the Delaware River. The staff were uniformly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, going out of their way for our comfort.
