This is a modest guest house some way from Bari Airport, with slightly complicated entrance arrangements, involving codes on a box at the gate and the door into the building. However, the room and shower room, though fairly basic, is clean and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. There is a basic breakfast in the entrance to which you help yourself. The woman (owner?) who runs it, whose name is Deborah, arrived in the morning (it was a Sunday) with a box of excellent croissants to which guests were invited to help themselves. But she then provided service well over and above the call of duty, for which we were and remain enormously grateful. We were having difficulty making contact with the company from whom we were supposed to be collecting or hire car and she insisted on driving us in her pwn car to the address we had been given and all over the area in an attempt to find their office, eventually dropping us at our request back at the airport. She was under no obligation to help us in this way and she willingly and kindly devoted at least half an hour to this. Huge gratitude to Deborah, a very kind lady.
