First about the room itself: The floor was so dirty it made my feet and socks black walking around on it. The bathroom door didn’t stay closed, even when locked. The road noise is very loud if you’re by the street. There’s no elevator so you will have to drag your suitcases up a flight of stairs if you’re on the second story.
Now to biggest reason why I’m leaving such a low review. I paid in full upon check in, but was not given any receipt. After checking my bank, I discovered there was multiple charges from the hotel! On two seperate occasions I went to the front desk to get an explanation but two different men told me “Oh that’s weird, we don’t know why that’s happening”. Very much lack of trying to find an actual answer to my problem. Finally a nice woman gave me an answer on the third try; I was being charged daily for the room instead of the full upfront payment that I had agreed to on check in. She wouldn’t give me any reciept and I was never given a full explanation on why this had occurred besides her saying “someone messed up”. If it had been communicated that I would be charged daily for the room instead, then I could’ve accounted for the charges on my card instead of thinking it was compromised! It was already late in the trip so we decided to stay at the hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Decent enough room but really need to work on communication about billing instead of passing the buck
