The extent of sargassum seaweed on the beaches and smell was disgusting. Unfortunately it ruined the whole beach experience :(

Family property exterior was not well maintained Needs touch up paint and staining wood pergolas. We paid for concierge service and it definitely was not worth ir. Check in was very slow. Correspondence before and during was poor. Had to get up at 5;00 to reserve lounge chairs in the shade by children’s pool. Good was very good. The kids slides pool was way too deep and dangerous for young kids. Also it was very very cold. Picked this property for the slides but spent about an hour there out of 5 days.

Las instalaciones son muy buenas, las albercas increíbles, el parque acuático es muy divertido y tiene varios toboganes, ideal para ir con niños. Los shows son muy entretenidos y el acceso a la playa muy rápido caminando y nos gustó mucho la cancha de voleibol.

Everything was close proximity. The beds were comfy and the room was clean (other than under couch). The ala carte restaraunts were amazing and the grounds kept beautiful. The couch had a big rip in it and was stained. The beach has no drink or food service. The kids club has times where they have to swim and this is done with you on a couple days - so not really a kids club at that time. The buffe food was horrible. And a couple times at the restaurants food was undercooked. The room had little things not working, door locks, the rain shower was hard to turn on. etc. And it ws really hard to get information on how things worked, timing, where to go, etc.

The staff especially Rene, Salvador and Antonio (all at the Family Concierge section) gave us excellent service and made our stay so enjoyable. It is a large facility so one most be fairly mobile to get around the property.

Family friendly and easy to get to where you want to go. Loved that there were pools with different depths availble. Seating at the Aquazone can be challenging and overstimulating at times. Limited chairs and shade at the beach. We weren't able to get early reservation times but luckily the buffet had lots of variety. Would definitely go back if these issues were resolved.

Lets have 1 star tell the experience as nothing was smooth and or clean. Have flea market each night in small hallways and waiting hours to eat. Pool service and begging to have chairs to seat as people were reserving them with their toys and go to water park.

The property was very clean. We stayed in the portion of the resort that allowed children. The property had water slides and plenty of spaces for you to sit poolside. I was not pleased with the availability of food options. I checked in on Monday morning and was scheduled to leave on Friday. As soon as we checked in we spoke to the representative to schedule our nightly meals. Unfortunately, out of 5 restaurants, we were not able to get a reservation for any of them before 9:00p.m. This is very difficult for families with children. Everything was already booked up before we ever arrived. Therefore, we ate at the buffet (which is always open) every night. Another problem, was they advertise a game room. My son is 9 and was not able to go in the game room because you have to be 11 years old. In my opinion, they should at least allow a parent to accompany the child while there. They had a basketball court but the balls were flat. They had a ping pong table, but no balls etc. They had a pool table, but the stick did not have a felt tip on it. These things are small but certainly matter when you are trying to find things to do with your 9 year old son. The property is in the middle of a jungle area, therefore you see small raccoon looking animals walking poolside to find food. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we won't return mainly because of the food options and availability of those options.

I liked the decor and glamorous feel of the resort, it speaks volumes and you feel like you're in a luxurious place. I like the natural trees and the jungle feel of the plants inside and outside the gates. The map provides a clear view of where to walk and where to run.

Paradisus was fantastic for our family ranging from ages 5-93. Food was plentiful and fresh. Great activities and shows for kids! The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Luis from Guest Services was so so helpful as well.
