The food was amazing. My husband had the seafood linguini - one of the best he has ever eaten and I settled for the sausage and mash. We loved the breakfast which plentiful with freshly cooked, hot food which was beautifully presented. Everywhere was immaculately clean and the staff were pleasant and attentive. The gardens are obviously looked after and there were some lovely blooms, even at this time of year.
The room was disappointing - we up graded to a room with a sea view and an enormous bed. Money needs to be spent - the bedding was 'bobbly' from age, paint was peeling off much of the woodwork, the bathroom tiles were ridged in black, the carpet was stained. The furniture was wooden and was lovely.
With so many five star aspects, it is a shame that the bedrooms are so much in need of renovation.
