We always stay at Chipman Hill Suites when we visit Saint John NB. The suites are beautiful, clean and well-appointed. The buildings are centrally located. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful old building and is well kept and managed. My room was well equipped with all that I needed and more. I would definitely stay here again. I think you should be aware that parking spots on the street fill up at night and you may have to park a few blocks from the hotel if you come in late. The area around the hotel did not feel safe for a woman in her 70s. The option of parking at the school is a good one for those departing at 7am.

The property is stunning. The main level is welcoming, especially the beautiful and relaxing sunroom. My room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed for my stay. The street noise was more than I've experienced. A 3am fight outside was so startling to the point that I was afraid and couldn't go back to sleep. I was considering calling 911 it was so intense, but they moved down the street and someone stepped in to deescalate it. I would consider staying at this location again, but not as a solo female traveler.

What a beautiful place Chipman Hill Suites is! A gorgeous restored Victorian, our spotless suite was large with a comfortable bed and everything we needed. The balcony is a nice touch, with a view to beautiful uptown Saint John just a short walk away. And Mary Grace is a wonderful host, great communicator and a big help with parking our camper trailer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our room was clean and comfortable. We even had a full kitchen. The building is a historical building and is beautiful. It was also very quiet. They arranged for parking for us. We received clear email communications on access to the building and parking. We will stay at the same property if we go back to Saint John.

Nice stay
Our stay was great, albeit some confusion with the hotel because the room we booked on hotels.com was actually not available. After some back and forth via email with the hotel, we were able to eventually get back the original room that we booked, however I needed to do more communication leg-work than ideal. However, our suite itself was lovely and very clean. Although the property is unstaffed, we never felt like we needed to get in touch with the staff anyways. The solarium is brilliant!

Our stay was wonderful. My wedding was the next day and I wanted some time with my daughter. We walked to Cask & Kettle for supper and came back and sat in the solarium and pondered life. The building was beautiful and so historic. We got a kick out of the Knight in Shining Armour. I would highly recommend a stay at Chipman Hill & Suites. We will be back!

Had to carry suitcases up two long flights of steps. Room has a musty smell and very old fashioned decorations. There is no staff at the location and no place to eat breakfast and no info in the room. Appeared to be some stoned people hanging around and didn't feel comfortable walking to parking lot at night. Bed was comfortable and there is a fridge and small stovetop. Overall a strange place. I felt like I was in the Knives Out movie.
