The Lodge and Lantern had come under new management just 3 days before and they did a wonderful job! The beds were great, the rooms were clean and the people were very courteous and friendly. I would love to go back some time and see everything the new owners have done to the place!

We probably had the worst room of the hotel, 104, the closest one to the lobby at the ground floor, with the stairs attached to the other side of the wall - light sleepers may want to avoid it. Still we had a good night's rest. The hotel is very affordable, the rooms are well maintained and clean, and there's good coffee available for free 24/7.

Lovely place! Very homey.

Our family had a wonderful stay. We stayed in a loft-style room with two queen beds, which was perfect for us. The shower was a bit small, but still manageable. I really appreciated having a smart TV in the room. Free coffee and tea are available 24/7 in the lobby, which was a nice touch. There’s also a cozy café just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. The front desk staff and other team members were very friendly and approachable. We would definitely stay here again!

The Lodge and Lantern was charming. The reception exemplary, the beds pillows and sheets the best we have experienced in our three week travels. The Nespresso was great! The lodge was beautifully kept and rooms lovely. Highly recommend. Gorgeous Mountain View. We will make this our Golden stop!
