l’Hostel est idéalement situé à mi parcours entre Vik et Höfn. C’est propre, les dortoirs sont confortables. Pour que cela soit parfait, il manque juste des sèche cheveux. Sinon rien à dire.

A fresh and neat hostel that is well planned, nice areas, shower, beds. Also has decent pizza and beer if sought after - and a nice breakfest for an additional cost. IT is a hostel though, remember that, you are at the mercy of other people as always. The hostel had everything that could be asked for. Best one ive been at.

Perfect for first-timers staying in a hostel! We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the bathrooms and showers were, and the shared kitchen was a really nice space as well. Honestly, we have no complaints. They even have a restaurant on-site, which is super convenient if you forget to pick up groceries or just don’t feel like cooking. Overall, it was a really nice experience for our first time staying in a hostel, and we would definitely recommend it!

Adoramos o hostel, bem isolado na Golden Route, o que traz a Islandia verdadeira perto de você. Lembre-se que é um Hostel. Quartos compartilhados, mas tudo feito com muito cuidado e carinho. A limpeza estava impecável. A cozinha comunitária super equipada e conseguimos cozinhar tranquilamente. A pizzaria é ótima e foi um prazer descobrir que a dona é Brasileira! Ahhhhh e ainda vimos a Aurora :-0. Recomendo

The “pod” itself was good. Curtain is a nice touch and almost makes it feel in your own little space. Each bunk had a plug-in which came in handy. The showers were dirty. Not enough places to hang out or sit outside of the bunk. The hostel was pretty busy so all the chairs and tables were packed. Kitchen was upstairs and had shared fridges and pretty of space to cook and eat. Overall it was ok for a night.

Très bel endroit, très propre et très accueillant. Seul inconvénient dont nous n’avons pas le contrôle : notre voisin de lit ronflait comme un tracteur. Petit conseil : si vous ronflez vraiment très fort, abstenez-vous des chambres partagées. Merci à l’avance

Relatively good value for the money we spent. However, there were to many people in one room (8 beds - 16 persons in toto) and if someone is snoring at night you feel helpless ... On top of everything our "cage" was not cleaned properly as we found (apologies for writing it) one used condom left on the shelf... The breakfast was a spartan one...do not expect the usual diversity in choice...

The full beds comfortably fit 2 people and had a curtain. The room also had a curtain over the window, which made it pretty dark, although some light leaked through, so bring an eye mask if you are sensitive. Other travelers were also very polite and sensitive, though people were constantly coming and going, so there was a bit of noise until quite late. It is quite a crowded place, so there was not always a bathroom or shower available during peak hours, but otherwise, it was what we needed on our way east from Reykjavik.

Das Fox Hostel ist ein sehr neues und sauberes Hostel. Es gibt genug WCs und Duschen, auch eine große Küche ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind durch Holzwände und Vorhang abgetrennt, man hat also genug Privatsphäre. Die Mitarbeitenden sind stets freundlich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

The stay was overcrowded and unhygienic, the showers were the worst I have seen in any hostel. The floor was slippery and even caused me to slip. The drain was clogged with hair. For the amount of people they accommodate the facilities were lacking by large margin. They don’t provide any storage facility in the room or even the lock for the lockers they have. The quantity of those are also not sufficient. Only decent part was the kitchen is well equipped.
