I booked the hotel on a business trip and chose what I thought was a well recognised, reliable chain.
A key requirement for a hotel on a business trip is reliable internet, and the Mercure does not have this. After several complaints about the internet not working they gave me the conference login, this did not work, they then gave me the staff login and this did not work. It took me 4 hrs to complete 40 mins work of my intermittent phone internet. Many others also complained on the day. The hotel needs to up its game as it is not at the cheap end of the market and annoying things like the key card not working property exacerbated my poor experience. Would not visit this hotel again.
