To start, we got a non-smoking room and was told there would be a $150 cleaning fee for smoking of any kind. For 1 we don't smoke because were both allergic to the smoke and when we asked about it, we were shrugged off and ignored. The room was full of cigarette smoke and obviously wasn't cleaned. Secondly the front desk didn't want to give us any more towles when we asked and didn't bring any more the whole time we stayed there. We understand that people are busy but when we see the staff not doing anything at all it's just frustrating. Also, nobody wants to really use the same towel 4 days in a row.

I had to change rooms because of the smoke heavy cigarette smell . The second room smelled of heavy smoke as well and had a cigarette burn mark on the AC which I took a picture of and showed the receptionist. They charged me 20 dollars because I checked in early . I smashed a huge roach on the wall which I have pictured as well . Power kept going out my last night and had to keep calling the front desk for them to turn the power back on as I’m packing for the airport I almost missed my flight back home . The most horrendous, horrible experience I’ve ever experienced. I’m definitely seeking a full refund. Don’t not recommend at all . Not even for the homeless. Staff was very rude , the breakfast bar didn’t have half of what was said to be available. The pictures online are definitely a catfish , rooms look old & run down in person .

It could get better

The overall stay was okay because I’m a very simple person. My main drawback was the cleanliness. The room had a moldy smell and the bathroom had stains with mold and gunk. I didn’t take any pictures but it’s something that needs attention. Also, the breakfast didn’t have some of the food (yogurt, orange juice) and it wasn’t replaced. If they want better reviews, that should be addressed.

Behind the seats, there was dirt in the tub and Hair dirty towels on the floor cracks on the floor the bed head hair and dirt on the sheets. The refrigerator was dirty. It also had dirt in Hair in there. They said they could not move me to another room or refund my money

Check-in was delayed until 6pm due to shortage. Room bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The hot water didn’t work for a while.

Overall, the stay was okay, but there were a few things I wish I had known ahead of time. For example, they didn’t mention the $50 deposit anywhere—it only said the balance of $204.78 was due at the desk. I even called a week before to confirm the final charges and was told just the $204.78, so the deposit caught me off guard. We got it back, but that money could’ve been helpful since we had only budgeted for the balance and our trip to New Orleans. The room itself had some issues. The toilet wasn’t secure to the floor, the tub was really close to everything, and the beds were much smaller than advertised—more like a twin XL or a small full, even though they looked bigger in the photos. The breakfast was very basic, with just waffles, cereal, and muffins. On the positive side, the hotel was quiet and served its purpose since we only needed a place to sleep. It was affordable, but just be aware that the photos make the rooms look bigger than they really are.
