El hotel reservado no estaba disponible por reparacion cuando llegamos, habia un letrero para recibirnos en otro hotel de la misma cadena que estaba como a 3 cuadras de ahi en la Rue de Plaisance y el hotel se llama le 55 Montparnasse Hôtel. Buena ubicacion para moverse por todo paris, la estacion del metro Plaisance muy cerca del hotel como a unas 4 cuadritas sobre una avenida. El desayuno muy bueno y suficiente para cargar energia por la mañana. El personal del hotel muy amable y atento.

Stayed 3 nights gor family trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was in 1 minute walk from metro which brought you to tourist areas. It was unfortunate timing that we chose to stay as the hotel was going through renovations, which was a slight inconvenience.

Family reunion

We had very bad surprises at arrival: no air conditioning when it was 40C/103F and under major renovation! We book the rooms in April and didn’t get any notice of this! My parents in law, in their eighties, nearly suffered a heat stroke! The renovation work was just above our rooms, from early morning, even during the weekend! They offered us to cancel the booking and to ask Hotels.com for a refund but how do you find 2 rooms in Paris city centre last minute at a decent price and how to be sure we would get our money back?! They gave us fans that were so dirty that they blew dust! The staff was trying their best to be helpful but clearly were overwhelmed by the situation. The management knew about the situation as they are closing the hotel from July 15th 25. They should have let us know in advance or offer another solution or at least give us a partial refund. Clearly this management doesn’t care about their clients or reputation. So they should not be in the tourism industry. As a French leaving in Canada, I’m ashamed by this type of attitude!

Service minimum

Certes la période était particulière : canicule à Paris mais plutôt que de dire comme ça était le cas pour moi même et la personne qui me précédait « on n’a pas dit que c’est climatisé » il faut noter explicitement « pas de climatisation ». Pour un hôtel 3* c’est limite quand même. Ensuite pas de douche mais un bain au milieu du coin SDB… bon… Et pour couronner le tout, pas de café disponible malgré la présence d’une machine. Je voyage plusieurs fois par mois dans des hôtels 3 ou 4* et c’était ma pire expérience depuis pas mal d’années. J’y retournerai pas.

N'y allez en plein été il y fait extrêmement chaud

La climatisation proposée sur votre site était inexistante !! C'est la raison j'avais choisi cet hôtel au dernier moment. Dans la chambre j'ai photographié le système climatisation qui est ancien Mais ne fonctionne pas

Canicule dans clim

À l’arrivée : pas de clim… justifiée par un changement de proprio et le vendeur ne l’avait oas réparée !! Super par un jour de pic canicule st la France … de plus une affiche travaux en cours désolé pour le désagrément!! C’est le comble … Résultat: pas fermé l’œil de la nuit environ 30 degrés dans la 208 …

They had no AC and did not let me know beforehand, note the temperatures were over 35 degrees. They had wood and cement works in the hotel and reception area, which means it was covered in dust and particles and protective plastic.They had given me a small fan and I have felt ill from the heat. The room did not have working lights (3 out of 4 lights non functional) and the table leg was hanging onto one slinky nail. They refused to do room service and requested i give the fan back as they dont have it in the reception for the work.

Rapport qualité prix médiocre . Le personnel n’est pas organisé et ne semble pas en accord. Beaucoup de discordes. Les photos ne sont pas fidèles aux lieux. Tout est étriqué et plutôt vieillot. L’isolation est horrible, j’ai entendu tous les ébats d’un couple entre 1h et 3h du matin. Cela dit , cet hôtel est idéalement bien situé, ce qui a rendu mon séjour particulièrement pratique, pédestre, à proximité de tout . Il y a un vrai potentiel à exploiter.

Good location but not much more

The hotel sits in a pretty good location in Montparnasse with several restaurants in the area, and it’s pretty easy to get to it from the nearest metro station (Pernety). Staff was also friendly. The room was very small (not really enough space for two large suitcases) and there were a lot of noises coming from other rooms late at night (flushing, shower etc.). There were spots on the ceiling, and in the bathroom it looked like there was black mould in the wall (and no toilet brush). The room was way too warm even with the window cracked, and we couldn’t get the AC to work. Wouldn’t stay there again.
