This is unique boutique hotel built into a former mill so the rooms incorporate the original walls and some of the equipment. Our room was very spacious and had a limited kitchenette. The sitting area was downstairs and the bed and bathroom upstairs in a very open floor plan. There is a door leading out to a shopping and food area that is attached but separate. There is also a bar. It’s very convenient for coffee and breakfast and there are other food stations to order from. The hotel is close to downtown Dalton and a couple of very nice restaurants.

This is our second visit to Dalton and we will continue to stay at Loom Room. anytime we visit the Dalton area. We love the location and Atrium area of the property that includes food, entertainment, and shopping all without having to leave the hotel.

We loved this place. The rooms were extra nice, the attached shops were fun and the management was super responsive even though they were offsite. We had a little snafu with our reservation (my error) and they jumped in to fix it quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

I wish I had discovered this place sooner. It is so lovely! It’s convenient and I loved having the adjacent restaurants. 10 out of 10. We will definitely stay again if we’re in the area! The staff was super responsive and helpful also!

Everything was wonderful. Spacious, unique place to stay in Dalton. The Loom Room had all the amenities needed. Check-in was easy with clear instructions on accessing the room and where to park. Steps away and located in the building are shops and restaurants that you can visit. Loved it and hope to stay here again! My teenage daughter also loved it- said it was her favorite place she’s ever stayed!

Very neat place. Stayed overnight on the trip home. Located about 5 minutes off the interstate. Check-in was a breeze, place was clean and comfortable. Ample parking and shops/eateries all within walking distance or a short drive away. Only downside is there’s an operational train track close by and you hear the train at all hours of the evening/night. Will definitely look into staying here again if in the area. Would rather stay here than a chain hotel.

All instructions are in emails (keyless entry, parking location, room #, etc.) Such a lovely property with so much history and re-done perfectly! So much better than staying at a brand / chain hotel. Restaurant and bar are in the same location. Never interacted with any staff (only reason I have a 3 star rating). Would most definitely stay here and recommend this place again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was super cute, very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. One of our favorite parts was how convenient the location was with the mill shops, food, and drinks all attached. Just one small thing to note — the walls are a little thin, so we could occasionally hear alarms and noise from neighboring rooms. It wasn’t a huge issue for us, but something future guests may want to be aware of. Overall, it was a great space and we would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our one night stay at Loom Retreat. We love staying in interesting places rather than chains. The place is adorable! We loved the fact it was in an old mill. Everything was new as well. The only complaint was the bathroom light was bothersome to those who were sleeping in the middle of the night since the walls don’t extend to the ceiling. A night light would eliminate this issue. Also, a towel holder would have been nice for the hand towels. Last, WiFi didn’t work really, but we also did not reach out to the staff for help. They did leave information to contact them should we need help. Overall, we highly recommend. It was a fun place to stay with a ton of character! We didn’t get to enjoy the restaurants or shops, but they looked great!
