Pleasantly surprised

We were there for Divine Mercy Sunday weekend. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was a one bedroom suite and had a dining table that sat four comfortably and a full service kitchen with oven and dishwasher. Many little extras and the tv remotes came individually sanitized wrapped. Also great value for the room we had. Bathroom also was quite large.

Pubic hair on sofa bed - they refused to send help

Beware families or anyone with 4 people. We booked one night and knew our kids would need to sleep on the pull out sofa bed. No problem, we’ve done that before. The problem was when I went to pull out the bed it was filthy. The bed was covered in crumbs, popcorn and hair… yes, including what looked like a pubic hair. I contacted the front desk and they said sorry and I could come downstairs (actually across the enormous resort) and grab some new sheets. Couldn’t someone come up and just fix it I asked? “No, there isn’t anyone from housekeeping on staff right now. And honestly, they wouldn’t come up unless we were staying the full week.” The bare minimum you expect of a place is a clean bed and they couldn’t even provide that. Also, I think think someone pooped in the pool earlier. I was told the pool was going to be closed “one hour” due to an “incident.” Of course hours later and I think the next morning was still closed leaving my kids crushed and me sleeping on the pubes sofa bed

Not bad, and a good price

Decor was outdated. The pullout couch was very noisy and uncomfortable when using it as a couch, almost like it was made of plastic. The price was pretty decent, though, for a suite with a kitchenette that had all the dishes, pots and pans, and appliances. Didn't get a chance to try out the pool or hot tub, but they looked nice.

Who hurt you, BML?

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. However, the hotel required us to sign pretty aggressive check-in documents with less-than-hospitable policies. $150 fee for late check out (never have seen that before!). Children are forbidden to run in the hallways. Dish washing sponges are kept under strict supervision at the front desk (what?!). You cannot use the pool after checking out. It felt like we were welcomed as untrustworthy people rather than valued guests. We found the suite to be very nice, comfortable and clean. It's just down the road from Bousquet and there is a wonderful market called Guido's right around the corner. We were a little disappointed there were no scheduled activities as advertised, but there is plenty to do in the area. We would return!

Easy spot for an overnight!

We had a great stay. Pool was great, room was good, the pull out couch was a little uncomfortable, but when aren't they. The game room needed updating as one arcade machine was broken. Kitchen was great in the room, and the whole hotel had a good vibe to it!

Great apartment hotel for families. Best value for money around (at least in winter). Pool is great (and warm), big room and kitchen. Our bedroom could have been cleaner (a gum on top of the shower, dust near the bed) and it is bit outdated but apart from that, we love the place. We will come back.
