Friendly staff

The room was clean but very out dated. It had the basic ammenities (one room has no fridge and another room has a fridge). Staff were nice and available to help with issues. I wish the staff could monitor parking better. I had to find my own parking spot the first stay because the lot was filled for tourism purposes. That part I did not like because I paid for parking (at a higher rate than a tourist). I had to wait until someone left. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful. I left around 0830hrs hoping to see the staff for the good snacks they provide but no one was available. So, quick checkout and empty stomach.

I had a nice and relaxing rest. They made breakfast for me and the staff was so nice. It's between the waterfall and Clifton Hill, so the location is good.

Je n'y retournerais pas

La proximité avec le Cliffton Hill (8-9 minutes de marche) est sa plus grande force. Malheureusement, cet établissement est d'allure désuet et légèrement malpropre. Les matelas sont désuets et les travaux pour entretenir l'endroit sont négligés. On nous demande un dépôt de 200$ et on nous charge un stationnement de 20$ sans aucune information à ce sujet avant l'arrivée. Je recommande un des nombreux motel ou hôtel alentour pour éviter celui-ci.

Convenient Location

The room is basic but clean. A little dated here and there but tgey are working on it. Innkeeper was friendly at check in and check out and quick no delays.

Dont stay there

3 of us stayed at this motel. We arrived late at night. We called before making the booking and asked a couple of questions before we booked. We asked if its ok we arrived late and how much the deposit would be if we paid cash. The guy on the phone told us 85$. When we got there the guy was asking 200$. Aside from that we had flies in our room. Tape holding up the doorknob and what looked like mold in the ceiling.The room was not properly cleaned we found hairs by the sink and in the shower. We definitely did not feel like we were safe in the room. When it came down to leaving we asked the guy the night before about checkout in the morning because we had to make our mega bus by a certain time he told us to ring in the morning. We were ringing banging on the door no answer. We ended up missing our bus. Overall i wouldn't recommend this place.

Chambre propre, mais mal entretenue. Des câbles pendent, des traces sur les rideaux, des finitions qui laissent à désirer… Un wifi impossible à capter Une télé d’un autre temps. Le parking à 10$/jour et le petit déjeuner en sac (même si c’est bien indiqué avant réservation) sont des détails qui ont du mal à passer. Très bien situé et peu cher, mais c’est tout.

Not value for money

See photo of grab and go breakfast. Comfortable mattress but only one thin pillow each. Only given 2 bath towels between 4 people. Floor was disgustingly dirty turning bare feet black after walking on it. Bath taps were so tight they could not be turned on without the use of a wrench by the owner, then unable to turn them off sufficiently to stop water running all night, waste of water and noisy.

Amazing location, but poor room condition.

Great location that is very close to Clifton Hill street, Skylon tower and the falls. The staff members are kind and polite. The building is very old though, and the room was not very clean. We had 2 cockroaches inside the room, the microwave was smelling some kind of food. They do not provide coffee machine, only microwave and small fridge.
