The room was superb, tastefully renovated and with everything you could want, including s mini fridge with fresh milk and a coffee machine. Unfortunately it is also on a very busy road so was very noisy. Rooms at the back may be better.

Booked a one night treat in Warkworth with our cocker spaniel. Been many times but first time at Bertrams. Lovely room facing out onto the front street with a cute little window seat. Lovely big bathroom with walk in shower and great quality toiletries. Comfy king size bed and lots of little extras including a little fridge with fresh milk and chilled water. Great breakfast before checking out too. There isn't a car park at the property but there is free parking less than a minute away or along by the river if its busy. We got parked no problem. Great value for money place to stay in the heart of beautiful Warkworth. Will defo be back.

We stayed 2 nights and wish it had been more! Our room was lovely.The breakfast was delicious. The staff friendly and very welcoming. It was easy enough to park in the car park square of Warkworth and we used local bus to travel into Alnwick (unfortunately the wait back for bus on bank holiday Monday was long as the one we waited for didnt arrive-think it got cancelled)Would suggest using an app for the bus if you use them as timings did not seem to be reliable.We also went into Morpeth which had some good shops. Amble is a good place to walk down to if you like a walk (and can is on bus route) we saw herons and lots of other birds on the walk there even catching a heron catch his dinner.

Excellent Pet-friendly hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms were perfectly clean and acceptable, the little fridge for fresh milk was a bonus as those plastic cartons are awful. The food was absolutely wonderful on the evening meal, lovely and fresh and pleasantly presented. Breakfast, there was so much choice other than Full English which was a pleasant surprise. All in all everything was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of days there and we will be back in the future.

The room was very pleasant but in the roof and was extremely hot, even with all windows open and a fan. The breakfast was excellent. Check-in time is restricted on Mondays and Tuesdays when the restaurant is closed and it was difficult to contact the hotel to make an arrangement outside these times, I had to call many times before anyone answered.

Bertrams is a lovely place to stay in Warkworth. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was at the front facing the road. The room was really hot due to the great weather but we were unable to have the window open during the night because of the noise from the busy road. We did however have a freestanding fan which was excellent and very much appreciated. Breakfasts are excellent and cooked fresh. Portions are huge! Would highly recommend staying at Bertram’s.

Staff Super Friendly In Summary Carpet leading to rooms dirty, carpet in our room same very dirty. Bathroom had terrible odour. Very Dissapointed. The Skylights Glass were layered with dirt and clearly had not been cleaned.

Great find, as never visited the area before. Very welcoming establishment more of a bistro eating place. No separate area for residents. Small outside area with tables which is nice in good weather, this could be livened up with plants and lights. Rooms lovely, spacious and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ate tea ( Sunday lunch) one of the best I’ve eaten and large portions! Breakfast very good too, with great choice. Loads to do around the area and will be back .
