We did not end up staying at this property. Still waiting for a refund. It is run down, not kept up. There was a bucket in the hallway to our room filled with dirty water from a leak. There is not signage to let you know where the property is and when you go to maps it says permanently closed.

The breakfast was pretty gross, the halls smelt like really bad cig smoke, but the room was nice and that is why I gave it 3 stars. They put some extra love into the rooms for sure.

We waited sir almost 1/2 a day to get towels, when only on e was left and it was 4 of us until we reminded them again. No wifi available, no no phone in the room. Breakfast was great and very attentive staff.

The room was in good condition. It was rather nice, actually. The remainder of the lodge, the outside, the grounds... clearly they're going through a transition. The grounds and exterior of the buildings need a lot of work. It just does not look very nice at all.

“Alfred”, greeted me at check in with passive aggressive comments he would be masterbating wearing myclothes while the front desk randomly called me a “dog”, out of some weird new age fantasy locals have about me. They accommodated a guy who was stalking me and propositioned me by placing him in an adjacent room. Maids harassed and verbally abused me through my door. Lots of racist homophobic people creeping around trying to be scary. Another terrifying hotel experience. around the area.

The room itself was clean and pet friendly but the grounds were in horrible condition. I picked a room with a patio by the lake so I could sit out on the patio and enjoy the view and have a place to walk the dog but I never opened the sliding door. The patio was covered in geese poop and the table outside the same. Molded over. I didn't even turn on the ac/heat because I was afraid of the toxic air it would take in because unit right by the filth. The hallway right in front of my room had a bucket w/brown water from a ceiling leak with several tiles missing and obvious mold. The grounds scattered with trash and beer cans and cigarette butts. Grass not cut. I never leave a review like this but I don't want others to deal with same issues. The front desk was pleasant and housekeeping inside of room cleaned room. I feel sorry for the employees that work here. How embarrassing. Goose poop is highly deadly if injested by dogs and also toxic to humans. Bacteria: Goose droppings can carry harmful germs such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Cryptosporidium. A day after I checked out, I had a severe sore throat and infection for several days. I left the bathroom fan on 24/7 but it made no difference. As a mater of fact, the bathroom stayed constantly damp. The new towels placed in room were wet prior to using.

Where do I even begin? The phone in our room didn’t work, no wifi, broken handles, mold, paper thin walls, my kids and I had to listen to the couple next door have sex for hours. No one manning the front desk after 9pm. The breakfast was absolutely awful. This place need a complete makeover. The only thing nice about this place was the polite housekeeping personnel.

Nobody was at the front desk. I had to call the hotel. There were bags of dog poop outside my sliding door. I tried to call the front desk and the phone is dead. I never had WiFi connection. Never had hot water; couldn’t shower. Can’t stay here again.

The room was good. We ate breakfast on Monday morning! It was a sad breakfast! No meat like bacon or sausage. Everything was empty. No eggs or egg products. I asked the front desk for paper plates as there were none available. She came and refilled the bagels bowl. and put out foam plates and bowls. We did not eat there on Tuesday as it was a very sad breakfast.
