Chose this property as a quick layover for the night after flying into Resyvik. The hotel is close by and was very clean. The shuttle to and from was also very helpful. If you need a layover location I would recommend it. Im not sure if I would stay there for long terms though.

After a long flight the hotel had beautiful soft beds to fall asleep in. The next morning because they are conveniently located to the airport they offered a free shuttle tothe airport at my request. I was so thankful! I highly recommend this hotel!!

A good checkin experience But the room was more like a hostel Experience with camp style beds Biggest disappointment was No blockout curtains and it stays 24 hours a day in summer Bonus was a lift to the nearby airports Which was why I booked it

The Hotel Kelir was very clean and comfortable with a wonderfully helpful staff! We could look from our window out to the beach and walk to numerous restaurants for dinner so the location was perfect for us!! The bed linens were perfect for our night’s stay and the towels were good quality. Our transportation to the airport was so accommodating for an early morning flight out of Keflavik. We would highly recommend it!!

We were only there for 6 hours, so I can't leave a comprehensive review. It was just a place to rest with our three kids during a layover. The staff was very nice and waited up late for our late plane to arrive, then helped us arrange a taxi back to the airport early in the morning. Clean, simple. Just what we needed for a few hours.

very clean and close proximity to airport and very friendly helpful staff. but no real shuttle service to and from the airport. it is the staff driving you so you need to schedule when at the hotel. taxi's are expensive but easy to take bus and walk 10 min to hotel. bathroom is tiny, but view was awesome.

Not a shuttle van, rather a car. Not ideal for families or large groups traveling to the hotel. Also, shuttle only provided one way or once per visit.

There is no elevator, so expect to carry your bags upstairs. The rooms are functional but basically like a hostel room with a private bath. The woman working the front desk (she was there when we checked in after 8 and when we left in the morning) was very polite and helpful. The hotel did offer airport transport with taxis.

i had such a wonderful time at this hotel. the staff folks were lovely and always there to chat about any needs. they even told us they would come to the pub across the street and let us know if the northern lights were visible on those nights. which they were and it was a beautiful location to see them with the ocean just behind the hotel. also really love the pub across the street, such nice folks all around that area. i'll be coming back yearly.
