The stay was perfect. Location is right in the middle of everything, termini station , metro/bus stops, cafe shops, restaurants are all in close proximity to the hotel. Would definitely recommend

Great hotel and location…spiral staircase to bath

Excellent hotel but our room had a narrow 17 step spiral staircase to access the bathroom! Flat out dangerous.

Amazing Experience

It was an Amazing experience, all the stuff was extremely helpful. Andrea checked us in, gave us recommendations, he was really friendly and helpful. The room is in the centro , middle of Verona, close to everything. I highly recommend it

The location of this property is wonderful, right in the heart of everything, and has the “after hours” perk of access to the Juliet courtyard. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a moody esthetic. Unfortunately this is carried through to the bathroom, so you can barely see to shave! (And for the ladies, no vanity mirror). More lighting is really needed! The air conditioning seemed to work, but took over 12 hours to reach an acceptable level of cooling. The management should really cool the rooms prior to guests arriving.

Very unique hotel

This is an interesting hotel. I hadn't read the reviews on it so I didn't really understand the setup. First off, Verona is dreamy! Fantastic window shopping, tons of restaurants. Nice people. The hotel is in a courtyard with Juliettes balcony. This is a huge tourist attraction. The gate to the Courtyard is locked from 7 pm till 9 am. What's cool is that you can wander around the area after the gates are closed. They give you a key for the locked gate. It can be a bit intimidating to push your way to the front of the crowds to get to the gate. When the gate is open, you have to deal with the police that monitor the attraction. So the gate is equally cool and a pain. The view from the room overlooked the street where the tourists gather to see the balcony. The room itself was spacious and comfortable but rather dated in my opinion. There was a full mini bar that was included, that was a nice touch. There are a lot of stairs, there is a small elevator also. All in all, a very unique stay, but does hace it challenges with the gate. Parking is about a 10 min walk away. Hotel is in the tourist district, most cars not allowed.

A perfect stay

It's rare to have a perfect stay but this was it. The location is truly magical, when the square cleared out at 7pm and Juliet's balcony is left all to ourselves (my daughter Juliet especially loved it). The staff were kind and helpful and the rooms were beautifully appointed. And at a time when you're nickel and dime'ed for everything, having snacks and minibar drinks included was the generous welcome that made us feel right at home. I can't fault anything about it and will be telling everyone I know to stay here.

This is a very charming and nice hotel. Very well equipped room. A bit noisy from the neighboring room and from the courtyard when other guests arrived in the evening/night. This could be informed to all guest by check-in. Very friendly staff.

Andrea was sooo fabulous and explained everything, with wonderful recommendations on dining and getting around the city. It was the most beautifully designed and spacious room I’ve seen in a long while. We especially loved getting the Romeo and Gulietta courtyard to ourselves for photos. The beds were so so comfy and free mini bar stocked beautifully. My only regret is not staying longer!

Amazing Verona Hotel

Absolutely amazing hotel! Wish we had cancelled our onward trip to Venice and stayed at this location in Verona. Staff is wonderful and always pleasant and helpful. Location is excellent and the owners have given attention to every detail concerning the room. Breakfast is not provided, but there are numerous nearby restaurants for a quick snack or full breakfast. Look no further - this hotel is perfect!! And, access to the Juliet courtyard is amazing after the crowds are cleared at 7 pm. Such a treat to stay here - hope to return again soon!

This is a very unique property that is located within the courtyard of Juliet's house and the famous balcony. You actually obtain a key to the gate so that you can enter and exit Juliet's courtyard after hours, amazing! There are no staff after hours so ensure that you plan accordingly and stick to their instructions if arriving late.

Good location. Definitely higher end. Wine and beer free in minibar. But in Juliette 's courtyard, so teeming with tourists from 9 to 7. Our room was over the street, so fairly noisy. Can drown out mostly with a/c full blast. Also they own a restaurant in the Piazza, menus in the room, that is a tourist trap. Mediocre food, unfriendly waiters. After adding a cover charge, he slapped down a box a said that was for the tip. So hotel is nice if u don't mind lots of people, but stay far away from their restaurant down the road.

Exceptional boutique hotel. Be aware that the gate to Juliet's courtyard -- the only access to the facility -- is locked at 7 pm. Make sure your cellphone plan allows for easy international calling, as it is necessary to contact them for check-in from 7 to 9 pm. After 9 pm. the hotel has arrangements with staff at a restaurant a few blocks away.

Relais Balcone di Giulietta

Great stay at this hotel, well situated and great service. Hotel is close to shops and in the garden where there is the Balcone. The gate is locked for visitors at night but open for hotel guests. It was quite unreal to have access to the Balcone di Giulietta all to ourselves over nightime. We also had all inclusive mini bar which was very nice. Room comes with Jacuzzi to help us unwind. I was surprised that the hotel check in time was 2 pm, which is great. The only ick is there is no parking onsite. The reception did show us where to go which is a 10 min walk from the hotel but with the luggage it can be a long 10 mins. We loved our stay. Thank you Balcone di Giulietta!

Could have been Perfect

In the courtyard of touristy Juliet’s House that has its pros and cons. You deal with the crowds during business hours. But, quaint when the site is closed. A male concierge on duty greeted us who was professional and assisted us with check-in and after hours entry. The room was lovely. We were with friends (in another room). We went to our rooms left our things and left the room. The men had a hunting convention to go to while, we women went to lunch. We returned a few hours later. After settling in, I noticed the bathroom was substandard. The front tub panel was off and gaping. The sink was broken. Not wanting to the responsible for the damages, I notified the hotel. I met with a woman who was aware of the tub problem but, not of the broken sink. She said the bathroom was going to be renovated Monday (how convenient). I requested another room. It was apparent with the third degree questions: Did you use the bed? Why didn’t we report the condition immediately? Did you use the bathroom? She wasn’t going to give us another room. Ugh! So condescending! I told her it was my holiday with friends and don’t want to argue. It’s seems the state of the bathroom is perfect for your guests. I am living in a house in Florence that is being under renovation. I could have stayed home. Also, I could have booked at a cheaper hotel. I probably would have gotten a bathroom that was intact. Bottom line, the decision is yours. She phoned 10 minutes later to give us another room. No way to start.

Wonderful experience

A wonderful and clean boutique hotel with friendly staff in a perfect central location. The free mini bar, balcony and jacuzzi made it a great experience, and the private courtyard to view the Juliet balcony outside tourist hours was very peaceful.

Absolute loveliness! Do not miss the opportunity to stay here if able as it was clean, spacious and very accomodating. We were able to leave luggage as needed both before and after our check-out times, staff was accessible and very helpful and the room we stayed in was great. We stayed overlooking the balcony and courtyard of Giulietta's house and it was charming. We enjoyed our stay immensely and are so thrilled we visited Verona to learn about the history, culture and area. We appreciate the hotel for helping to make our experience wonderfully memorable.
