The hotel is ok for a night but the trains run right by the hotel so u constantly hear it u have to find parking and the rooms are extremely small but they offer smoking rooms and they are ok as far as being clean

No outside disability access ramp. Particular female staff member was rude to me. Bombarded my phone to return after I canceled a subsequent reservation. Amenities not worth price of hote. Bad area of Bronx. Close to transportation. No parking.

My spouse did not feel safe here. I didn't feel much better. I suspect a drug pickup point just around the corner. If the front desk staff requires a thick plexiglass wall to feel safe, would you feel safe as a guest? The jotel entrance was a few steps down a kind of alley with steps down and no window with a view in from the street. There were a couple of sad, half-filled vending machines in the lobby. The sink was not much bigger than my hand. The only positives were that the room was adequately clean and the shower was very clean. And I did not see any vermin. There are better bargain options to be found. Seek them out.
Directly across the street, trash piled to the guardrails.
Awkward entrance for nighttime.
Sad vending is the main lobby feature.

This Hotel is by far the worst Hotel on this website! For the amount of money we paid for the room was ridiculous. I’ve paid less for Hotels and had better service and better rooms. Our room smelled the cigarettes, the toilet was clogged, the faucet on the sink was loose and moved all over the place. The towels were ripped and there were no toiletries like it states. The sheets were stained and the mattress was a piece of foam on a metal frame that made the worst noise. We were promised a new room and the room they attempted to give us was worse than the one we were in. We asked for new towels and they gave us towels from their lost and found that others had left behind and the smelled like bad cigars. People screaming and yelling and fighting in the Hallway all night. We had to endure this for three nights for my mother’s funeral because the cost of this Hotel did not allow for me to book another hotel. We need to be compensated for this disaster!

Arrive at 4:00pm one hour after the “check in” and still wait almost 1 hr 1/2 half more because they did the “check in” base on who came first…?? and what about the check in 3:00pm??? I paid TWO rooms and one of them said he wants to leave when we ask they said you need to call “expedia” and they will do it, when I did it they call the hotel- hotel says NO we cant cancel (we can) but we would NOT return the money.. so it was stay or stay. Once in a lifetime - never again.

Iffy but clean

Throughout our stay an alarm in one room went off the entire first night keeping us up. The third night someone kept pulling thw fire alarm due to a dispute with the hotel. Walls are very thin. Tv doesnt work well. Accessible bathroom was nice, but the button for ground floor elevator does not work. Works can be fairly short and unwelcoming at times.
