Quiet clean comfy

Not the worst, but not the best

Photos were misleading. Paid extra to ensure we had a desk in the room to do work and we did not. Staff was not great. One of us needed a cab early in the morning and we asked multiple times not to call our room in the morning so the other person wouldn’t wake. They scheduled the cab for thirty minutes early AND called the room to wake everyone up. We asked them to charge a different card checking in than we had used to reserve. They said no problem, but still charged the wrong card. They didn’t always take the trash when turning over the room. Really convenient location and cute hotel but set your expectations low otherwise. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but loved the food!

The staff was kind and rooms were nice. Only thing is if you are abonvoy member would be worth it to book through Marriott to get the points. You won’t get them if booked through Expedia or another travel agency. The dining, food and and drink on the property were great. The property is close to the paddington station, great for transportation to and from Heathrow, as well as throughout London. I would stay there again.

Joli hôtel au calme, petit déjeuner à améliorer

C'était notre 2e séjour dans cet hôtel. Nous apprécions toujours le quartier calme, le design, le confort des chambres et l'amabilité du personnel. Cette fois, notre chambre était en sous-sol (basement/lower ground) mais ce n'était pas trop gênant pour la luminosité si on ne passe pas la journée dans la chambre (il y avait quand même des fenêtres). Seulement, nous ne pouvions pas du tout aérer notre chambre (fenêtres non ouvrantes), ce qui nous a dérangés. Le café de l'hôtel propose un petit déjeuner (végétarien/vegan) plutôt bon mais il est plus intéressant de le réserver par avance : à la carte, il est cher avec des portions réduites qui laisseront les bons mangeurs sur leur faim, et le service est un peu lent. Plusieurs cafés autour de l'hôtel proposent des formules plus avantageuses.
