Beautiful new property, near station. Lots of food options for all meals nearby. We had a junior suite and then moved to 2 rooms. Both were great. Don’t forget to try the onsen or book the private one, treat experience. Hotel check in takes some time but they give you a nice beverage while you are waiting. All rooms have toothbrushes, slippers and pjs. We had a nice fancy drink at their bar, they charge a cover fee but it was fine, it’s pretty pricy but a nice escape:

Loved my stay at this hotel. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day out. And even if you decide to stay indoors, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and relaxing (not to mention the spa!). The hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff were wonderful, and the location could not be beat. Easy access to sights as well as local transit lines. Also walking distance to numerous restaurants, breweries, convenience stores, etc. Aesthetically, the hotel was also beautiful. Room setup was very functional. We even had a washer/dryer which was unexpected, but great since we were mid way through a two week trip.

Perfect location for visiting Kyoto. A few minutes down to the market area, where there are loads of restaurants, etc and very easy access to transport or walking to other areas. The hotel was lovely and modern, but keeping the ‘Japanese’ feel. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend. The public bath was lovely and very quiet whenever we used it, and it was very useful having a laundry room available too.

Perfect location, nice large room, beautiful landscape, very clean, even a good restaurant. More of a 4 star hotel than a five star hotel (services), but still a big winner-I had booked 4 nights and extended to a week! The public bath is a big plus. Fitness room is barely adequate (very small, weights sparse).
