Beautiful Hotel - Room Mix-up + Room Charges
First off, this hotel was beautiful and clean! There were some service issues - We were given the same room number as another couple and had to go downstairs with the couple to get it sorted out. We had to correct the email address and credit card on file, as well. We were all pretty perplexed on how the mix-up happened. Also, we were charged $15 + tax for the StillWater in the room, even though we had VIP perks that gave us each a free beverage. I had to ask twice to get the charge removed. We loved our room once we got the room issues corrected! Everything was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We’d likely stay there again and hope to not have future issues with our room and bill!

The hotel has no microwave! You have a fridge and no way to heat items. Ice is only available downstairs! The check in person did not know directions to the room and it is not an accommodating hotel for the price. Parking was ok because the event center took most of it at night. Close to decent restaurants. Overall not impressed!!!

Great place to stay
From check in to check out, this was a great stay. Front desk was friendly and welcoming upon check in. Questions answered quickly. When we checked out, the young lady thanked us for staying with them. Room was spacious with comfortable furniture and really comfortable bedding. It was a bit of a challenge to get the temperature where we wanted it. It was either too warm or too cool. Bathroom was well appointed with good size walk in shower with great water pressure. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were furnished. Great location close to everything we wanted to do. Next time we will stay in one of the train cars.

We absolutely loved the train car room. The area was amazing. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Area was great! We parked at the hotel and never moved our vehicle the whole weekend. So many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. My one draw back was the train car was dark. I completely get the love of the dark green wallpaper and velvet drapes. However, maybe add more than a 25 watt bulb somewhere. The restroom vanity (gorgeous marble btw) is not large enough for makeup and hair. So please add an extra bulb somewhere else :-)
