We were really hoping for a smooth experience at the Hampton Inn in Hamilton, but unfortunately, several things went wrong. First off, the pillows were uncomfortable and didn’t fit a king bed properly—both of us left with sore necks. Housekeeping never came to clean or tidy the room, and we had to call down for fresh towels, which took 20 minutes to arrive. With a wedding to get to, I had no choice but to reuse a towel to shower.
The parking garage also felt unsafe—people were hanging around and playing in there, which felt risky for our car. We had confirmed over the phone that parking was included, but ended up being charged extra at check-in, which was frustrating. Check-in itself was chaotic, with very little space and an awkward entrance setup.
The included breakfast was also a letdown. We don’t eat pork and had specifically asked for turkey sausage, which staff said was available—but it never showed up.
All in all, this wasn’t the relaxing or reliable stay we expected from a Hampton Inn. Disappointed and wouldn’t return.
