8/10 Very good

Great Job to the staff
Algil, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

You definitely get what you pay for with this, and we were there just one night. I will start off saying staff was nice and it was a great location. But the checking in at the hotel a few days down was kinda strange. Immediately walking in the property I could tell it was not clean. The entrance is very dirty. The room size was what I expected, however the floors had white stains all over them. The sheets and towels were clean at least. The worst part though is now that I’m home I have bite marks all over my back and right arm. Looking at other reviews it seems this hotel has had issues with bed bugs. While the price was good for just a night and it was a good location, and friendly staff, I would likely not stay at this location again.

6/10 Good

Very small room, no air conditioning, no shower door so the bathroom floods. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice view. Half an hour walk to main tourist attractions. Overall 6/10

8/10 Very good

Great location, mattress could be better

They were very accommodating and helpful. The room was small but fine for our purpose but it had a soft spot in the mattress and should have been replaced. Lots of hot water and a great location! Whenwe come again to Amsterdam we would stay there again.

Found hair on the bed after checking in, toilet wasn’t working properly, only 1 hanger to put clothes on, shower didn’t close so water was going everywhere, only good thing about this place is how near it is to central

Good hotel, basic, clean, comfy

It what it is, decent basic hotel, nothing special but clean and comfy and served a purpose, staff were always very friendly and helpful, enjoyed our stay

8/10 Very good

The hotel is located in a great area ! Close to museums and other touristy attractions Hotel is not in best condition but for the price you pay it is worth it. If you are looking for a cheap place where you can sleep it’s perfect. Room is very small Stuff is excellent

8/10 Very good

Although small, the room was good. Walking distance to the metro, laundromat, supermarket and markets. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Emma, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Nothing as described, yoy have to check in down the street you need to buy a cup for coffee, no was 6 flights of stairs up room no window no air and smelled like sewer, we left after 1 night i couldnt bear it never again staff was polite and friendly

4/10 Fair

Better than expected, but still bad

If you don’t mind playing «the floor is lava» this place is fine. We had clean towels and bessheets. The toilet wasn’t properly cleaned when we arrived and the carpet is horribly dirty, we didn’t walk around without shoes. It’s cheap, but I wouldn’t stay there longer than 2-3 days. It smells kind of bad in the stairwell, but our room didn’t smell bad. The best thing about the hotel is it’s location. It’s super close to the metro and several museums.
Sine, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

There were a lot of poor reviews but I thought it was good value for money. Clean enough, great location next to the Heineken brewery, plus walking distance to the city centre and a few blocks from my favourite drinking area called Leidseplein. Would've been nice to have a kettle to make tea, but i liked it.
Graham, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Very basic accommodation and small rooms

Staff were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Rooms were small, very little furniture apart from a bed, just some simple stuff would have made it nicer, bathroom more modern with nice shower. Served it's need as the most budget hotel in that part of Amsterdam.

Aston City

Great as a basic and cheaper place to sleep in central Amsterdam. Room was small and could do with a bit of maintenance, but fine as a place to sleep. Great location with lots of amenities within walking distance.
Andrew, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel is located just a block away from a tram station and the Heineken Experience. A couple of blocks from several Museums. Several dinning options close. Room was ok, but the bathroom was very small. Front desk is at a different location, but overall a good experience.
Manuel, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Not clean, facilities poor, no shower door
hannah, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The staff were amazing, very willing to accomidate us and fix whatever shortcomings we had with the property. The facilities however not so much... The plumbing was bad and they should really change the carpet it wqs discusting. That would really make a difference with this property. The area is nice and the people were great!
Armando, 4-night trip

Amsterdam

Budget friendly hotel, can't complain for the price compared to other hotels in Amsterdam. Check in is at another hotel a couple of doors down, not a problem at all. The check in was quick and easy, with friendly staff, a deposit is taken in cash for all guests but is returned at check out in cash. The actual hotel had a vending machine in hallway which was good. The hallway had a bad smell but was clean. The room was small but clean, usual for budget hotels so no problem. Double bed with plug sockets on one side, large window onto the Main Street, walk in shower and storage for bags. About an 30 min walk to Dam Square down one main road with shops, bars etc. Overall, I would stay again as a good budget by option.
Rachel, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Look, this place is what it is. Cheap for the location. We stayed during a heatwave, the room didn’t have A/C which was a killer. The rooms were not made up over night and we didn’t receive fresh towels. romantic weekend away, forget about it. Lads cheap trip who only want a bed to sleep, PERFECT.
Lee, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great location, lovely staff, nice cat! small room with a few hooks to hang clothes on, a few coat hangers would have been useful. window into the stairwell means its quite loud in the room at night but it was clean enough and a great place to sleep & shower whilst exploring Amsterdam. No problems with it but not a place to stay if you want somewhere to hang clothes/ spacious room.
rachael, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Although the place was in a decent area with food and interesting things to do around. The hallways and entrance smelled terrible. Had to have the window open all day/night to air out the stench. The double bed was made up of two small twin beds, which made it uncomfortable to sleep in.
Diana, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Staff were excellent, friendly and polite but the quality of this property is poor. Not worth the price paid per night and room smelt damp, water from shower drained away very slowly and cobwebs/spiders across the ceiling.
Michael, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

The staff at Hotel Blossoms were friendly, and they have a cute cat! Just a few minutes away from metro and tram stations and a lot of great Restaurants. I was shocked by the Aston hotel's condition. My room was unclean—hairs everywhere and stains on the bedsheets! When i asked for another room they said they did not have any rooms and they would clean it again. They didn't change the sheets there was a long dark hair on the pillow before i left and when they"cleaned" the room it was still there, they just turned the pillow to the other side again. Loud phone calls and smoking in the hallway (non-smoking hotel!) added to the disappointment. I checked out early. I should have read the warnings.
