Lovely short stay. Everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast selection. Room and hotel overall was very clean. The upgrade was a surprise and very much appreciated, thank you. Lovely position, close to Kings Cross and the underground. Nice set back position. Loved the view of the park and the tennis courts. Although central London, was calm enough at night to have a good night's sleep.

Pleasant little hotel with a convenient location. Easy to access via train, and the neighbourhood had a lot of nice small cafes and restaurants within a walking distance. After being awake for more than 24h it was easy to check in and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit warm inside though and I'd likely not choose this hotel during summer months. But spring and autumn for sure!

Good, but there are some issues.

Our triple room was a good value for the money. However, I would avoid staying here during the summer. Although our unit was garden-level it was incredibly warm - much warmer than outside. Although I expected it to be potentially warm, the complete lack of air circulation made it incredibly uncomfortable. The room was clean and maid service was available daily. It was somewhat “cozy” for two adults and a teenager. Also our view was of the inner courtyard, which would have been fine, except the maintenance people used this as a work area, which made it less private and quiet than we had hoped. The George is a clean, nicely updated property, but the above issues might make me seek a different property for future trips.
