We stayed here for a trip to London as well Harry Potter (2 adults and a 7 year old), this hotel was between the two which is why we chose it. The hotel proximity was close to the train station to catch a train into London which took about 10/15 mins, as well as the bus to Harry Potter studios (which was also free and a nice bonus).
The hotel was perfect, whilst it didnt look anything special from the outside, the inside was clean, modern and comfortable. Just what we needed as somewhere just to sleep. We stayed for 2 nights, breakfast was great. It was small but had everything you'd want and tasty too. The second night we had a light meal on the evening. The food was excellent value for money, particularly considering the proximity to London, and really tasty with lots of it, not at all what we expected for the reasonable prices. Drinks at the bar are also extremely reasonably priced too.
The car park is small, and we couldnt book a space prior to going, but we booked a space at the train station which was a £14 weekend rate and within a small walking distance from the hotel.
We would 100% stay there again should we visit London.
