This is a simple, no frills hotel in a great location. Rooms are updated and modern and very clean. We got way more than expected when we opened the doir and the staff are outstanding. Can't beat the location for anything you want to do and just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be going back!

We love staying here. It is walking distance to the Bogue Pier and beach. My husband can fish while I relax on the beach. If he decides he's fishing most the night I can walk to the room. The staff has always been very pleasant and accommodating. It's a no frills hotel with clean rooms and good beds. We hope to go back often!

This was our third time staying at the Oceanview Inn, and it was as good as the last two times. We requested an upstairs room, which we got. The view is nice from the second floor! We always had clean towels and supplies. Great location, a 5 minute walk to the beach. We went on Memorial Day weekend, and stayed a week, so understandably it was busier than normal, and a little loud at night, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Overall, we were pleased with our most recent stay, and look forward to coming again!

Close to pier and able to walk to the beach without transportation. I didn’t like not having paper towel ( Kleenex) which every hotel has but I am glad they have path tissue. Thank you

Outwardly this property scores well. The staff were attentive at check in, and it is in close proximity to the beach. Despite opening the door and smelling a heavy aroma, which we thought were from cleaning chemicals but now think may have been pest control chemicals, initial impressions of the room were positive, until we looked at walls that were stained or in process of repair but not complete. However, the true issue were bed bugs. We failed to do the bug inspection, and have bites that can only be attributed to bed bugs. If you opt to stay here make sure to inspect the beds.

This location was very convenient as it is just less than 5 min walk from the beach, and there are stores and restaurants in nearby. The rooms were clean and the staff was also very friendly. We loved our stay in oceanview inn.

Recognizing that this is not a four or five star property, but a well utilized, near beachfront motel with some age on it, we had an excellent stay! We needed to get our toes in the sand so we purchased one night, at a very reasonable rate, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly, and though the rooms have some age on them, it was clean and comfortable. I might not stay here more than a couple nights, simply because there's no kitchen, but a very enjoyable stay for a night or two for us. We will be back! Ps- My only complaint was the air conditioner could not keep up with how hot it was outside, so it was quite warm in the room (but I brought a small fan to help with that). The bathroom could use some new grout, but it was clear that they keep it clean despite the sea salt and sand.
