Fix your issues!
I visit this hotel quite frequently and it seems that every time I come it gets worse. This time, the fitness center was closed, the ice machine on the first floor didn't work so I had to go to the 3rd floor and in the breakfast area the juice machine was broken (that's more often than not) and no eggs were available. That is the ONLY thing I can eat as I'm on a Keto diet. I understand eggs are more expensive right now, but you certainly have not adjusted your nightly rates based on all of these issues.

The room was very dirty and the bed mattress was stained. Look like bed bug stains. We only stayed one of the two nights that we booked. We are now fighting to get our second night refunded.

Staff is amazing but would not stay again
I want to first say that the staff were all very friendly and accommodating - especially the gentleman that checked us in that night. The hotel is very worn down. We had to switch rooms when we first checked in because our original room had no safety lock on the door. The kind gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic and sweet. All ice machines were broken and the door to the bathroom would not close as it was half broken. The pillows were so uncomfortable and lumpy and the mattress pad on one of the beds had filthy stains. This hotel with its friendly staff has a lot of potential but really needs a lot of updating and deep cleaning and they need to fix all the broken things in their rooms. For what I was charged ($193 for one night), I expected much much more. No coffee makers in the rooms and it stunk like cigarette smoke even though the rooms are non smoking. No comment on the complimentary breakfast as I checked out the next morning and didn’t visit that area.

Terrible Management
Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Everything was fine at check in until we went to the room and tried to use the bathroom and found that the toilet would not flush and there was no running water beyond a trickle in the sink or shower. When we confronted the person at the front desk they said it had been like that all day and she was receiving a number of calls about it. (However we were not told at check in about it or would not have continued with the check in) We decided then since they had no idea when the water would return, to find another hotel. When we asked if we could have a refund, we were informed the manager, who is the only person who is able to authorize a refund- was on vacation and did not delegate anyone the ability to authorize cancellations or refunds, etc. Needless to say, we did not stay at this hotel and are not fighting for a refund, and they have refused to refund us for the stay we did not take-despite the fact that they did not have basic amenities-water.

Not great
The place is run down and had a dirty feel. The whole place smells of weed and cigarette smoke. The sink faucet dripped and the bathtub faucet was coming off the wall. I had to turn the knob a bunch to get the wayer to come on and off. The only good thing was the staff were friendly. Not staying here again.

Upon arrival the bed was unmade, bathroom floor and tub had hair in and out it and there was a cockroach. I did get a new room which was in better condition but didn’t even receive an apology or acknowledgement other than “here’s the new key”. The rest of the place looked to be in poorer condition as well.

Definitely gone down hill from years past
I stayed at this location several years ago and I must say it’s definitely gone down hill since then! The room had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time just by first glance when entering my room. There walls needed a thorough wipe down and the floors felt like a hotel room at the beach from the amount of dirt on the laminate flooring. The bed was pretty comfortable and bedding seemed fresh, but the dingy feeling of the room made it an uncomfortable stay. If I have to book another hotel room in Greenville, NC in the future, I will certainly choose another hotel just due to the feeling of it being unclean which made it hard to relax. There was also a very prominent smell of weed as soon as you walked in the lobby when entering the hotel. The smell was so strong that it lingered throughout the hallways and even into my room. In the future I would be willing to spend more money to stay somewhere that I felt comfortable in being in a clean space that I didn’t have to worry about potentially dangerous situations with having drug activity so openly known.
