Hotels.com messed up our reservation and the first night was not on the books for Hampton Inn and they were totally booked, so we had to find a hotel to stay in for the first night. That was very distressing and the clerk at the desk at Hampton Inn was NOT very helpful. I had to practically pull teeth to get her to help us find somewhere else and she was very snitty and tried to ignore what I was saying. That was a terrible experience and we ended up at a lower class hotel for the night. That being said, the second night, when we went to Hampton Inn to check in, the clerk that night, a different person, was very helpful and respectful. The hotel was clean. One complaint was that the shower was left with a used bar of soap in the soap dish and made us feel as if it had not been cleaned. Also, our towels were not replaced on the next day and we had to go down to the desk and ask for new towels at 11 pm.
