Perfect. Quick one night stay, late arrival, early leave but loved it. Quirky little places but fun.

We had a blast telling people we were sleeping in a train caboose! We stayed it the Casino Royale theme one and it was so cute! There were touches of casino all throughout! The decor was fun, the bed was comfortable and it was easy to regulate the temp. There are steps to get in but they had nice rails. It included a Keurig single cup coffee maker with some pods, sugar & creamer and some different types teas, microwave and small fridge, tv, a wall heater that looks like a fireplace and a whirlpool jetted tub! For us, the best part was they allow cats which is the main reason we booked there, we have a diabetic cat. He enjoyed watching all the different birds and the frogs at night were fun to listen too. So much nicer than the noise of the city! We can’t wait to go back!

Such a unique environment. We were in the Lavender Caboose. Spacious, quiet, walk to the park or grocer. My husband's favorite part was the galvanized rod that he did chin-ups on. Will come back.

Upon arriving, my husband and I were very excited to see how cute the property was. We stayed at the western train and it was amazing how well decorated the train was. However, our satisfaction was crushed very quickly when we started noticing pet hair everywhere. It wasn’t just one spot the cleaning staff missed. It was on the bedding, heaters, shower head, and on the chairs. It wasn’t one or two hair but we found chunks. It just seemed like we got new bedsheets and new towels but everything was left as is from the previous travelers. The train chairs on the “second floor” had so much dog hair we couldn’t enjoy them. The place was really cute and very thoughtfully decorated. So I know the owner really cares about this place. That’s why I'm leaving this honest review. I hope they improve the cleanliness because we really want to come back here again for the steampunk strain.

We enjoyed our time, the bathtub was incredible and the bed was clean and comfy. The staff warmed the space prior to our arrival, which was very thoughtful as it is literally freezing out. Some confusion regarding the property fee since it is the same cost as our actual booking, which led to confirmation bias that I'd booked two nights instead of one.

Love the concept of this place to stay. Solid, safe & has character. Unique & affordable :) Beds are comfortable, quite lodging. Appreciate that this vessel is being used with a purpose & recycled. Highly recommend.

Honestly we loved the adorable train cars and the pond with the ducks and had every intention of booking another stay for longer next month. Within an hour of arriving at the property I began to wheeze and started to have problems catching my breathe, I thought it was perhaps just an allergy, so we opened all the windows all night long even though its winter. The next morning with the sun shining we noticed that the air in the room was heavy with dust and particulates (with the exorbitant $40 cleaning fee they charge everyone the rooms should be immaculate.) we literally made the comment it looked like it was snowing so we opened the door and looked for where it was all coming from. I spent the day out and about when I came back I was drawing a hot bath when I realized that the heater that is on the wall above the tub was pushing out a significant amount of large white particulates. I also realized that it was pulling the flocking off the Christmas trees that had been screwed into place on the platform right under the heating/cooling unit. It hit me right then this was why I was having so much trouble breathing, Iam respiratory compromised. I contacted the property and explained that I was having issues breathing flocking is toxic to inhale especially with respiratory issues. I was told to avoid the area (it's a studio)I had to leave in the middle of the night after having serious respiratory distress. They didn't offer a different room and have denied a partial refund

Quiet and quaint, not fancy. Clean, but some areas could be tidied up a bit. It might be time for new blinds - the roller shades weren’t in the best condition. The shower is a free-standing tub with a handheld shower, that left a bit to be desired when it comes to a nice shower, hard not to get water all over the place. The bed wasn’t uncomfortable, but was creaky, thinking that is because of how the frame was built, not the best.

The Olympic Railway Inn was, the perfect getaway for my husband and i. Great set up in the Casino Royale train car we stayed in. Lots,of room for the two of us and our pup. Sequim is a beautiful little,town and this Inn adds a special touch. Thank you for being so creative and having them a reasonable price. Your staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
