Kilkenny Aspect Hotel Kilkenny
I stayed in this hotel on Saturday night with a room just one floor upfront the main entrance of the hotel. Taxi and cars stopped to drop off the room guests arriving the hotel almost every 5 minutes until 3:30 am. It was so noisy that I could only get into sleep at almost 4:00 am. Overall, it is a nice hotel.

The staff at the hotel, no matter the job they have, are the best! Such amazing and friendly service. They were very informative on the area on things to do and places to eat. Disturbed Night
Friendly reception and given a room away from the bar and restaurant as requested. Had dinner in the restaurant - food was fine and reasonably priced. Comfortable bed and good sized room. The room was quite warm and had no means of control. Not sure where the heat was coming from (but not outside). Our bathroom fan was continually on all night. In the corridor was a cupboard with loud and low frequency humming noise also all night. Night staff informed but they didn't do anything. Given free breakfast as compensation but does that make up for a disturbed night?

Property was in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle but only a 25 minute walk or so to Kilkenny Castle and Medieval Mile. No gym or pool/hot tub however fairly busy so did not really miss them. We asked for a fridge in advance of our arrival and it was provided. Very friendly and helpful staff
