Cockroaches all over room
In the middle of the night, I woke up with severe allergies (sinus pressure, runny nose, sneezing, etc). The pillows were not feathers (I'm allergic) so I knew it wasn't that. When it was finally morning and I went to use the restroom I saw a huge cockroach (I'm allergic) and squashed that. No big deal, but there were tiny cockroaches crawling all over the walls. I packed my stuff and contacted the front desk who told me the manager wouldn't be in until 9am. While we waited I was dealing with hotels.com who was trying to contact the hotel in order to refund us. I wanted my stay refunded as there are now cockroaches in my bags and I needed the next night to be canceled. The hotel wouldn't provided me with a full refund but did refund my next night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It was disgusting!

Aggressive scary management
The management is horrific there. I paid for an extended checkout at 3pm. At 12:30 the general manager started banging on my door like a mad man saying u need to leave. Until he finally verified that I had paid he left. Then I told the front desk lady that when we check out we are still going to use the pool for a little she said of course that’s fine. Then she came back and said the manager said no you cannot use the pool. My daughter is on spring break mind you and it was our one little get away and they were just rude and mean. It’s supposed to be a hotel home away from home and they made it unwelcoming as hell. Other than that the room was nice since I booked an executive room and the pool and hot tub also nice but sauna is out of order.

Needs upgrades
This place needs serious upgrades and some modernization. The first issue was the room door. It appeared it had been kicked in and then half way repaired. You could literally push the door in a bit. The door wouldn’t lock unless you slammed it shut, and then push against the door hard to get the lock in alignment with that make shift latch inside the door. Opening the door was even harder. Turn the knob and the door was stuck. You had to jiggle the handle to get the latch to unattach. It was like we were locked IN! The television was an old school LG, about 20 inches, sitting on the dresser (that had broken drawers (wouldn’t close all the way). No movie apps (Netflix, etc) option on the tv to watch anything other than the basic cable service. The HVAC system was weird. Put the heater on (74 and above), and after the room was warm, the fan would kick on blowing cold air. This rotated alllll night/day. The air blowing through the old school wall unit (with the broken cover) smelled like dogs had been in the room. It was confirmed that animals were obviously allowed when we saw a bulldog (with its owner) walk through the lobby, and proceed to a room. No signs of being a service animal as he was pulling his owner. The best part of this stay was the indoor pool.

Disappointing..
Got the hot tub suite .. made popcorn and burned the first batch. I put the bag In the sink for a sec and go to get another another bag from my suitcase and out of the Corner of my eye I see a nice size water bug run from the bathroom to under the Sink.. where the food was. I Stompped him out and threw the Food outside the room, but I didn’t feel comfortable walking around room after that. I like the hotel but I’m def switching rooms

Livermore Stay
Upon arrival at 2:45, our room was not available. We had to wait 30 min. The room was hot and stuffy. The body wash in the shower was empty. The pillows on the bed were not comfortable. The breakfast was average. The coffee was warm, not hot as it should be. The room keys kept malfunctioning.
