This place is honestly ridiculous. There are very few places to eat, and the hours listed on the app are completely inaccurate. We tried to get breakfast at a spot that claimed to serve à la carte breakfast, only to be told in person that they were only serving lunch.
While everything is within walking distance, the lack of dining options is incredibly frustrating. The food overall is mediocre at best. The buffet is subpar whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The only decent meal we had was at the Driftwood restaurant near the seaside swim-ups.
Our swim-up pool was fairly dirty, and we didn’t even get to enjoy it. Of course, the beach in Mexico is always beautiful, which was one of the few highlights.
The staff at the resort are friendly and helpful, but there’s a serious lack of communication about what’s open, what’s available, and what events are happening. For a resort that markets itself as a luxury experience, the disorganization and lack of transparency were really disappointing. The staff deserves a five star rating though.
