Just an overnight before visiting family for Xmas. Very comfortable. Two bed room was actually a suite with separate bedrooms. Fabulous setting. Good restaurant. Nice breakfast included.

A Room with a Spectacular View
A unique place right on the Ocean with spectacular views from all rooms over the pool and into the waves. A beach you can walk on during low tide. The rooms themselves are meh. Not great decor, old, squeaky bed, low grade uncomfortable pillows. The Shoals restaurant is very good.

Parking was challenging. Room was tiny but sufficient and clean. Dining was EXCELLENT. Great dining staff. Superb views from dining room and pool areas. Epic views all around. Would ask for the rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors with HUGE windows that look out on the ocean. WILL stay there again.

I dont write reviews very often if at all but this experience was very unpleasant. This place is about as run down a hotel we've stayed in for the rate we paid. Our room had a broken window, a smelly quilt, and an awful shower. We got locked out one night and had to climb a fence to open the front door because the code for the keypad was in our room. Tried calling but no answer. pretty ridiculous they dont just have a digital keypad. Would not recommend and would not stay again.
