The property is closed & has been since May, yet Expedia continues to allow bookings and there appears no way to get refunded.

This hotel is not open and signs say it is under investigation as a crime scene. Do not book a room here.

Very nice staff, great rate. No problems. Just not a 5 star hotel.

10/10 Exceptional

We just needed a room with two beds for a late check in and early departure. The beds were great, the room was clean. The room was also huge with a great layout. If you require the newest and finest of everything, this is NOT your place (and you won’t find what you’re looking for in this town), but it fit our needs perfectly. Very friendly staff too.

Old hotel, but served our purpose. Rooms are fairly roomy. Small microwave and mini fridge in roomS. Hot water didn’t last long For the price it met our needs

Fire 🔥

The place caught fire and nobody canceled the stay or told me to book else where. I pull up and find this out. NO HELP FROM ANYONE

The property definitely needs work, but I did not expect too much for the price unlike others who are complaining. I see many complaints by people who want a 5 star motel at a one star price. I received friendly service.

Little gem in the middle of nowhere

Simply amazing little hotel. This is your 80s style motel/hotel. But it has been recently updated and the rooms are huge. The young lady who checked us in at 1150pm was super friendly and let me know it would be cheaper booking though hotels.com than paying them directly. Ended up saving us $20 for the night. Wifi was great for the rural area and parking was pretty decent. The room was clean and didn't have any kind of odors. Bed was very comfortable but the pillows left a little to be desired for us. Will be staying agian next time we make the trip to Colorado

Run down & dirty but OK for a quick nights' sleep

I don't mind an old hotel or no-frills furnishings, but cleanliness is a must! The bathroom and sink were dirty and there were used washcloths under the sink. The parking lot was not well maintained and the ice machine out of order. Just generally felt uncared for. However, the staff at the front desk were helpful & friendly.

I kinda liked that it was unintendedly retro bc reminds me of trips with mom & dad 50 yrs ago. I was surprised it got a good rating bc was missing some obvious things like mini frig, microwave & breakfast to go. The bathroom was in bad need of an update, but the 2 things that caused me the most problems were lack of working ice machine & fairly big insect on my pillow. In general, I think motel needs a thorough extermination

Poor experience

Arrived at the hotel and wanted to check in but no one was at the desk. Sign in the office said to call a cell number but no one answered. Waited in the heat a half hour. Was getting ready to leave when the managers of the hotel showed up.They said they went somewhere and forgot to take their cell phone, Room was not stocked with clean towels and the carpet was wet. TV remote was missing. Not a pleasant stay. Would not do it again.

Rural Potential - Cheap and Clean

Surprised this was a Wyndham Travelodge. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Comfy bed but cold room took hours to warm up. No microwave nor coffee maker. Was informed that had to be requested with reservation. Sign said there was coffee and a grab and go breakfast but there were only the same sad mini-muffins from the night before Coffee wasn’t ready until 6:40 am because the single mother GM had worked until 12 and was expected back before 6 am. Upon my further questioning the workers are overworked and extremely underpaid; Sounds like the owner is absentee and demeaning toward women. Please check into this and improve it for the workers - I’m sure there are rules and industry standards the owner should be apprised of.

2/10 Poor

The worst hotel that I've ever seen.

This property is undeniably the worst I have ever encountered. The manager's response, which was clearly a generic template, mentioned vague "updates" that have supposedly been made. However, anyone with a modicum of work ethic could have improved this property within a few days, unlike the two years that this manager has been in charge. We promptly documented the appalling conditions by taking photos and promptly reported this disgrace to Hotels.com, demanding a refund. Here are some of the issues we observed: There was no one present at the front office, leaving guests unattended. The grass remained unmowed, resembling that of an abandoned property. A recliner, covered in grass and pollen, was inexplicably placed near the main entrance, presumably for the manager's smoking breaks. The parking lot was cluttered with broken-down vehicles. The overall appearance of the property was reminiscent of an abandoned place. The property's condition posed a severe safety hazard, rendering it unsuitable for anyone, including families, to stay in. Overall, this property's state was abysmal, and it failed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests.

This property burned down May 2024. I was left with no place to stay. Expedia was of no help.

Arrived at 6:00 pm and noticed absolutely no cars in the parking lot. Bad sign! Went to the office door and it was locked. Bad sign! Note on the door said to call a particular phone number with any issues so I did and let it ring for two minutes straight. No answer. Bad sign! Peeked into the office window and and the space looked like it had not been used for some time. Decided the motel was closed and had to drive on to Limon to get a room for the night. Now I have to figure out how to get my OneKey points and money back!!!
