Simple hotel with good facilities. Rooms are a bit outdated, but they work just fine.

Property was lovely, room was a nice size and clean and in great decorative order. liked the 2 options for access with key card and on mobile phone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location and was easy to find, right on Vondel park. I had a lovely time staying here

6/10 Good

Was disappointed with the room as images on site representative and do not show the basement room we had. Overlooked a yard area and doors were barred so no emergency exit that way. Bathroom light was broken when we arrived and could not be fixed till the next day so we were given a usb cable light which kept going out so difficult to shower in pitch black. Towels were changed but tea etc was not refilled. There are no bedside tables to put your things. The small table under the tv is full with a coffee machine and kettle but no socket close enough to plug in except by putting kettle on the floor. Room was not hoovered each day and paintwork was chipped plus some damp signs by curtain floor as well as a musty damp smell. There are only 4 hangers for 2 people. Could hear people in other rooms nearby especially when closing doors.

The building is quaint. The area is perfect for walking and close to museums . Vondelpark was the next street over and made for a pleasant stroll. We walked everywhere.

Nice hotel. The staff are very kind and willing to help you if you need it. The rooms are comfortable. It's near the Van Gogh Museum and Reijksmuseum. It's expensive, but everything in Amsterdam is expensive.

A bit worn down hotel. Nice beds though. Really nice area. A bit pricy for the standard

Very basic

It was ok. We had a room with three twin beds for our family of 3. Very basic, not updated at all. Shower was roomy. Overall clean but just very minimal in every way.
Heather, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Lovely location, my room was a little dated. The bathroom had an overhead shower over the bath, due to the sloping roof I was unable to stand up straight. Very friendly and enjoyed the free coffee
Zoe, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

Did the job

A no frills hotel, but in a lovely area which is quiet but easy walking distance to museums, restaurants and cafes, city centre and busier spots, and abutting Vondelpark. The hotel wasn’t anything special, with a few small issues (e.g. marks on the walls, bathroom was very cold and radiators never came on which was tough in early feb, had to turn my bedroom radiator on when I arrived and it didn’t make much difference, a significant dip between the two single mattresses making up the bed, and I didn’t love the pillows - subjective, I know). However the location was great for me, it was clean and had everything basic that I needed. Staff were also very helpful with my last-minute late checkin request following a flight delay. Also, I was just grateful not to be in a hostel! Seemed expensive for what it was, but Amsterdam is expensive!
Ella, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

I would have given a 5 star easily but since we needed wifi for our trip it was at best a 3 star. We booked here because it was in a good area by vondelpark and a decent price. The ad says free wifi but didn’t disclose that it doesn’t reach all the rooms. Made it very frustrating. Other than that it was amazing and great staff.
Davis, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very satisfied

The Atlas was so convenient for our stay. We like 'old' which is why we chose a place like this. I believe they are updating the rooms. We were not put off by the couple things that needed attention. The Spanish lady at the front desk was just great! She was friendly, helpful, funny. The breakfast was at a sister hotel down the street, and it was fabulous. We would stay here again.
Delight, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Great location, architecture outside beautiful. Room size ok but no AC on 80 degree day (not their fault). Main problem was the room smelled very musty and there was mold along floor in bathroom. Asked front desk to come to room and she did. She said it smelled normal to her.
