The best feature of this hotel is their Waterpark if you’re travelling with kids. Otherwise, the hotel needs a major facelift asap.Everything is old and full of dust.You can tell that the housekeeping team are making an effort to clean and tidy, but rooms still don’t feel or look clean. If you’re staying more than a couple nights make sure to bring your own toiletries- the hotel provides nothing but soap in a dispenser.Not even shower caps. Parking is additional $25 per day which is ridiculous as the hotel is nowhere near the main attractions, meaning you will have to drive and spend more on parking there. There’s breakfast for extra cost downstairs.While very convenient if you don’t feel like going anywhere else in the morning, the food is very bland and low quality. There are much better options within 5-10 min drive- like Flying Saucer where food is great and kids breakfast is only $4.99. I have to add that despite the hotel being disappointing all the staff members we encountered were very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The ladies at the front desk made our check in smooth and pleasant!

Highly recommended

We enjoyed our stay. I was impressed with the cleanliness and condition of the place. The price was great compared to other places in the area, and included the waterpark. The waterpark wasn't huge, but big enough for thy kids to have fun when we weren't sight seeing. Our microwave didn't work, and they immediately sent maintenance to replace it. We would definitely stay again.

Parking fee should be included

The staff who checked us in was a bit tired looking as he was not very friendly nor smiling. I get that maybe he is feeling under the weather that day. But he still managed to explain everything to me upon checking in. I just could not get why we need to pay for parking fee hence, we are checked-in with your hotel. It’s unusual. The waterpark was good for kids.

It was amazing, hotel was good as aspected, having issue with the clog toilet right after checking in, got little frustrated as this happen couple of minute after checking in to the room, guy name is Jessy done excellent job to clean that out, he work really hard with wet vac, dry the carpet with towels and sanitize the entire bathroom. I was surprised as hotel do not have any wet vac or anything to drying the carpet.

Price is right

We’ve stayed here plenty of times, it’s our go to. The staff is always friendly and kind, the waterpark is great. It’s not huge which makes it easier to keep your eye on your kids and even when it’s busy it doesn’t feel overly crowded. The staff is always friendly and kind, the hotel itself is very clean just needs an updating. We were on the second floor and unfortunately the people above us children were running back and forth so that’s the only complaint we really have is you can hear everything lol but that’s out of the hotels control obviously. Beds are small, decent, the pillows are comfy mattress not so much but it’s a hotel. It’s perfect for families and the price is right!

Great Niagara Trip!

Great stay at Americana! The waterpark was the perfect size for the kids in our group - ages 2, 4, and 6. We also appreciated getting adjoining rooms with the other family in our group. We found the spacious and great for kids - including a big table for eating, microwave, and mini fridge. I would recommend this place for other young families!

Recommended

The hotel was clean and fairly comfortable. Check in was fairly quick. The toilet paper were tiny, cheaper rolls and for a family of 5 in a junior kiddie suite should probably have been stocked a little better, so you don't have to go and ask for it every day. That said, staff was friendly and accomodating and this was really a decent place for my family. Waterpark was actually a decent size for the hotel and was never really over crowded during our two night stay. Slides were good, fast and fun. Overall, a nice stay. Better to have a rental car if you plan on visiting the downtown/Falls
