Our classique room faced the staircases so it was dark but it was spacious and quiet. Bathroom was clean and decent sized. Excellent location, close to all the attractions and public transport. Aircon in the room wasn't effective and it was more like a fan so the room was warm and stuffy. The room would be unpleasant during summer. All staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was excellent with the best view in Lille. Other than the aircon issue, this is a great hotel.

Don’t stay here!

The front door was locked upon arrival. No one at reception. We knocked and waited. Finally an employee came, called and door unlocked. Rather scary for women in street. Third floor halls rugs had stains, dirty neglected. Safe in room didn’t work. Oder in room. Stain on bathroom ceiling and water on floor by toilet. We requested refund. Could not get an employee to help. Unsatisfactory. Do not understand why it is rated a 9.

Very centrally located and convenient for many restaurants, bars and the subway. 15 min walk from the Eurostar terminus or could get a tram.The hotel is still being renovated which affects our scoring slightly and outlook from our room not great. This is a good choice of hotel as central and also easily accessible from the rail stations on foot. The breakfast area was a bit limited and food options were not always replenished unless requested. Room was comfortable and quiet but decoration is slightly quirky.
