The room they gave us smelled like mold as soon as we opened the door and mold was found on the ceiling. We were moved to another room that wasn’t as bad but we were completely turned off from the hotel, so we left and booked another.

If you have a load of pets, are a heavy smoker, and don't mind trading filth for low price, this is the place for you. I spent time checking into Baymont online and none of it was honored. There were so many things not functional that it would not be possible to list them all. The towel rack and toilet paper roll fell off the wall. We had to fix out own dishwasher. This place has not had anything other than a surface clean in a long time. Things I found thar should not have been in the room were a mac and cheese box, old ketchup, a pet dish, and a used drug pipe. On the upside, the pool was was nice.

Greedy with breakfast

I stayed months ago and stay was great. This time around was not the best. The kitchen in room had crumbs on floor like it wasn’t cleaned well or not cleaned at all, the staff at desk was not the best when it came to breakfast. It was 8:40 and a customer asked for biscuits and gravy because that was what was served as shot breakfast but was gone when she arrived. The lady at front desk said there was no more. It should not be first come first serve but customers should be served till the time posted which was up till 9 am. If they run out before 9 the. Another batch should be made. There was no milk left for cereal or syrup for pancakes and they would not refill. Very disappointing to see how they treated that customer and by not refilling the other items. It was not yet 9 and if we gave them business by booking there then they should have been kind to refill and make some extra biscuits and gravy. Overall stay experience was a 4 for me out of a 10. I don’t think I’ll ever book there again.

Filled out the online pre-arival info and it didn't seem to have any effect. Looked through the entire room for bedding to go with the pull out bed before discovering there wasn't any. Had requested this prior to arriving. Got bedding from front desk. Also couldn't use our keys to get inside the building after checking in. Couldn't get inside the room either. Had to check back at the front desk for that as well. The AC in the room worked well and the room layout was nice. Dishwasher was broken and the overall condition of things was dingy.

Check in and check out were very simple, the staff were friendly, though there werent very many, so at times the front desk would be unmanned. The grounds were mostly neat, but in need of some repair and refresh. The parking lot, wall trim, and floor coverings are in serious need of tlc. Im not sure if the current staff or management have the capacity to truly upkeep this property and compete with other hotels. Carpet is in need of replacement altogether given its dated appearance and smell. A deep cleaning of all surfaces, inluding walls, and a refresh of the elevator would help this property shine. More cleaning staff to handle room cleanliness is also desired, as much of the room supplies were missing, and the coating of dirt and grease on backsplashes and fixtures were disappointing. Attention to detail is severly lacking. Wynhdam would do well by setting aside capital to upgrade lighting fixtures in the common areas, and eventually the guest rooms to LED, with a higher footcandle rating. The hallways are dim and with the dated and odored carpet, leaving guests feeling as though they are in a horror movie. The beds were comfortable and made neat, but if the linens were fresh is questionable, given the stains on the pillow case and sheets The pool and pool area were perfect!
