This was a decent budget hotel. The staff was very friendly, and rooms were clean, considering the building was a bit older. The parking lot was a little hard to find, as the entrance is around the back from the next block over, but once pointed out by the staff there was plenty of room. It was a good stay overall.

Everything was good. Nothing was spectacular. It was a clean, pleasant hotel with a decent bar that had good food. I would stay there again. I did use my own bedding because the laundry detergent is quite fragranced. It would be nice if they would use unscented detergent.

Hotel was quite basic and our room didn’t reflect the photos shown here on this site. Our bathroom had mould on the roof, was very small and just felt quite old. The bed had a fancy coloured light at the back of it however I think the rest of the room needed a little TLC to freshen it up.

Always a good welcome

I’ve stayed at the Ben Mhor frequently and found the staff to be really friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, on this occasion I didn’t book the breakfast but have in the past and always enjoyed it. It’s an ideal place to stay if on a budget, it’s location is great for exploring the local area and there’s plenty of opportunities to grab some food outwith the hotel nearby.
