10/10 Exceptional

Great stay.

A good location very comfortable with Aircon makes such a difference during the heat wave I’ve been working in an area and I highly recommend.
Charlie, 4-night trip

8/10 Very good

Friendly staff and good value for money but lacked facilities. Bar was closed for refurbishment and a long walk to anywhere
Hywel, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

fine for an overnight stay

The room was in the annex. There is no lift to the upstairs. Good amount of parking. Room was clean and pleasant. At breakfast the water for the hot drinks was not hot enough for making a good cup of tea. Also there were no boiled eggs and when we asked the lady said i keep asking the chef but there are none. I would say there was a fair selection of breakfast foods.

It will be even better when bar and restaurant is back in commission. If you walk into Andover (15 mins) there is a footpath all the way but you do need a torch for the final stretch on Micheldever Rd, because the street lights finish.
Stuart, 1-night trip

Was not worth the money

Room very old window very dirty Radiator in bathroom all rusted sink very small people slamming doors People in car park very noisy from 6am in the morning bikers leaving their bikes running
Paul, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was a lovely clean room, with air con, only problem I found was the curtains were hanging off the wall.Apart from that I was happy to stay there. The bar and restaurant were closed for refurbishment which I wasn’t aware of,however it maybe on the booking site and I must of missed it.
Mark, 1-night trip

It is OK

It is OK. Looks a bit tired in places. Noisy water tank outside the window, but staff are very friendly.
L D, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

I stayed for almost two weeks. The staff and facilities were perfect for me. I wanted a nice, comfortable and clean hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
Alan, 13-night trip

8/10 Very good

Short stay away

Lovely 4 day break away. Room nice and clean and staff very friendly. Would recommend for short stays. No cooked food available- continental breakfast only
Roy, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The place was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff full of beautiful people. 15 minutes from Stone Hinge. Andover is a friendly small town with great local pubs. Everyone we met were extremely hospitable. Would definitely return and recommend!
Michael, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good value, great location, poor beds

Good value, convenient location, helpful staff, tired room which was dated and smelly. Biggest issue the mattress was very uncomfortable and needs replacing!
James, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Quite location, rooms were comfortable, shower no problem although a little dated. Was a bar but told it was closed(all of Saturday), didn't have the breakfast option. Only met with reception staff on arrival and Departure, all were helpful and friendly.
Christopher, 1-night trip

Disappointed no food or beer served
David, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Checked in no bar no restaurant had to drive out for food Breakfast in the morning was abysmal 1 croissant 4 slices of bread to toast couple of bits of ham/ salami and cheese it’s honestly the worst best western I’ve stayed in
Lee, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

All good
Alexandre, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Overnight stay

The hotel itself was good and staff friendly but it is a shame that there was no evening meal or bar available but having said that….. The continental breakfast for the price is appalling. Very little choice and several people were complaining about it. I certainly wouldn’t be doing that again or recommending it
Victoria, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Not such a pleasant experience

We couldn’t get the heat turned down, had windows open all the time. Breakfast was all cold foods, no butter for 3 days, scones were stale, had to ask for bread, tea, and to fix coffee machine, general appearance of the hotel was shabby. The one saving grace, a young lady receptionist, Leah, who was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful.
A C, 3-night trip

4/10 Fair

Noisy machinery outside some rooms

Needs to be very transparent that there is no restaurant anymore. This is inconvenient. As mentioned by someone else i also got one of the rooms next to the extremely noisy machinery next to the left of the main building. Couldn't sleep because of that.
1-night trip

4/10 Fair

First impression was that it looked run down, poorly maintained. There was no heating in our room. Left part of socket was faulty so two electric heaters which they brought did not heat, initially. Eventually we had heating in the radiator because we were told the boiler wasn’t working. The carpets, particularly in the corridors looked filthy, although they had been hoovered, really disgraceful. Bedroom curtains hanging from rail plus a large crack in the window. No tv instructions and tv not easy to operate. No cooked breakfast, limited choice, particularly bread. Sliced white bread only, no bread rolls and croissants only available on the second day. Juice diluted. Coffee luke warm.Poor quality. Very limited choice of cereal. We have spent many breaks in The Honest Lawyer in Durham, another Best Western Hotel which was far superior . There is no way we would stay in that hotel again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone. My husband asked for a reduction in the £200 price which was immediately refused because we booked through Expedia. Would you consider this.
Edward, 2-night trip

Very nice reception staff, very nice and quiet property
Francesco, 1-night trip

Mark, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Excellant rooms as always.
Glen, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room ok and that’s about it

Room was ok, bar was not open, breakfast was awful, bacon undercooked and not a wide selection of choices
David, 1-night trip
