Great location. You can walk to Metro (Rogier) and shopping mall (City 2) within 5 minutes. Although there are some homeless on the street, it is still safe around the hotel. The front desk staff are super helpful. They help me to photocopy document and tell me the direction of my school. That's why I extend 1 week in this hotel. I would definitely choose Thon Hotel if I visit Brussels in the future. I will recommondend to my friends too.

Invest in staff training please!
Hotel is overall nice though the breakfast is really overpriced for 26 eur. I did “file” a complaint in the morning of my check out because one night someone just opened my door at 01:00 AM in the morning. I was confused and thought i dreamt. Minutes later the reception called me asking me if i was mister “X”, and said that that someone dropped chocolates in my room.
I told him thats not me and he just said “well now u have chocooates! How can they just allow someone enter my room at 1AM? Why would u call someones room at 1AM? The lady at the reception couldnt care less either and just said yeah we can make these thpe of mistakes when some organizers want to do sth special for their guests… really? The hotel itself and its amenities however r fine, staff could be better trained m.
(The “chocolate” was some cheap industrial muffin filled with bad chocolate not even from Belgium, so disappointing too)
