Drive a little further to find a nicer hotel

This hotel is run down and due for an update. Pool was out of order and the elevator was out of order after our first night. Pull out couch has a thin mattress and the shape is too odd to sleep on the couch itself, plus no extra blankets or sheets were provided.

2.5 stars, staff saves this place

The bed was comfortable and easy to sleep in. My air didn’t get cold and my refrigerator did not work. The only thing that worked was the light. I wish the toilet was a little higher. I enjoyed the front desk staff when I arrived on Saturday. She was so sweet! I probably wouldn’t choose this location again in the future.

Disappointed

The pool was closed by the public health department. The elevators were not working so we had to climb 4 flights of stairs with all of our baby equipment. Random holes in the walls of my room with wires coming out. Room floor was super dirty, found toenail clippings on the ground when we first got to the room. Very disappointed because I always trust Marriott to be clean and in good condition.

Pool is not in service

Our stay was not the greatest. Started out with the pool not being in service. There's a note from the state that it's been closed since September 2024 and cannot open until things are fixed. Doesn't look that is going to happen. We had to get our key cards reprogramed 4 times during our 3 night stay. If I knew the pool was not in service, we would have stayed elsewhere.

Overall Stay

I didn't take photos. The television had limited channels and more than 50% of the channels did have sound. The bathroom and towels could've been cleaner and there was no AC inside the lobby. Needs work for sure.

Hot mess

Had to wait well after check in to receive a room that was functioning and/or cleaned. Desk really didn’t seem to care about inconveniencing us. Elevators are noisy and scary. AC was out in the lobby and elevators all 4 days.

A disappointment

The pool was closed - looked like it had been closed for almost a year already?! At this point you need to stop advertising that you have a pool. The knobs on the AC unit were broken off, so you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The halls smelled like garbage. Breakfast was not as advertised. There was one guy serving everything and the line was super long. He would take one order, go back and make it, and then get the order for the next. I gave up and went out and got breakfast elsewhere.

Nope, chose somewhere else

Paid for the breakfast as part of the room price and was charged separately (added tot he bill). Now i have to dispute it with credit card. Comfortable bed but the place is very run down (pool closed due to sanitary reason, no soap / shampoo in the room, shower curtain rod busted out of the wall).
