It was a nice place, a bit out of the way, but we were able to book it when in a bind due to our original booking at a different hotel being dirty, and damaged. The service was prompt and kind, the breakfast in the morning delicious.

Despite this hotel being roughly thirty minutes from downtown Berlin by train (though it is twenty-five minutes from the airport, which is why we considered it), everything else about the property was outstanding: the staff, the room, the amenities, and the view from our room. Would definitely stay here again and other Ibis Styles hotels.

welcoming friendly staff
The staff were really good in looking after guests.. I would have preferred coffee/tea making facilities in room rather than a descent to ground floor. Having a disability made it difficult for me to carry drinks around so I felt trapped into sitting near the coffee machine to drink. To ease pain a hot water bottle is good for me but without the means of heating water again a problem. To be able to have an evening meal at the hotel would also have been great rather than have to seek out local restaurants, especially with all the roadworks currently all around. The inflexibilitty in changing nights booked was an issue ahead of visit which I felt was totally unnecessary on the hotel's part.and did blight opinion of the hotel ahead of visit.. Access to local transport systems within around a five minute walk is good with good services

Hotel is in general good, it’s basically what you can expect from an Ibis Styles Hotel. Rooms were modern and clean, bed was comfy. The air-con of the whole building was broken, which was an issue due to 30 degrees Celsius outside. Due to the Special Olympics which were held in this week in Berlin, the prices of the hotels in general were quite outrageous. But next to this two issues, it is a good place to stay for one or two nights, especially if you’re on a business trip and don’t spend much time in the room anyways.

Excellent hotel but could be improved.
Excellent hotel great view from room onto river. Good breakfast and easy to get into the centre of Berlin using the FEX train service. Only problem we had was on the last day we had a cleaner walk in on us at 9am in the morning trying to change the room around. He apologised and backed out but approximately 30 mins later another one tried. If we had not been up you would have walked in on people sleeping. So maybe wait slightly later in order to change room as we felt pressured to leave the room considering check up time was supposed to be 12 we felt they needed to change the room as cleaners kept on walking in and disturbing us. Resulting in a longer wait at the airport. But overall a very pleasant stay.

Sauberkeit war grenzwertig. - Haare auf der Matratze - Haare an der Wand im Badezimmer Teilweise Rost im Badezimmer Matratze war eine komplett durchgelegen Geräuschempfindliche Zimmer. Man hört alles von oben sowie unten und aus dem Flur. Türen der Zimmer knallen Extrem laut. Im gesamten muss ich sagen leider ungenügend

Schönes Zimmer mit Spree-Blick
Wir hatte 2 Zimmer im 2.OG., durch Hotels.com gebucht, daher Kategorie "Fahrstuhl-Nähe". Man hörte zwar den Fahrstuhl nur leise, aber die schweren Zimmertüren waren lauter beim schließen. Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet und eines mit Blick auf die Spree. Sauber und wie frisch renoviert. Ein Zimmer hatte nach 2 Tagen ein Problem mit Fäkalgeruch im Bad und das hatte eine Verstopfung, das kann ja mal passieren. Jedenfalls hatten sie sich gleich nach der Bekanntgabe darum gekümmert. 15€ für Frühstück finde ich zuteuer, doch bei Kindern unter 12Jahren, für die Kostenlos. Wir waren lieber um die Ecke beim Bäcker. In der Nähe die S-Bahn und in 20min in der Stadt. Gerne wieder
