This place used to be a Rodeway Inn, and honestly, it should have stayed that way because it’s nothing short of a horror show now. The sign is still up, which is an eerie reminder of what was once a chain that at least had some semblance of standards. The moment I pulled onto the property, I could tell something was off. The grounds are unsafe—especially for a single female traveler. There were people loitering in their cars, popping in and out of rooms for quick, sketchy visits, making it clear that this place is not only dirty but downright dangerous.
Now, let’s talk about the room—if you can even call it that. It was filthy. The sink didn’t drain at all, leaving water to just sit there, and the AC unit had a paint can stuffed underneath it. I kid you not. But the real kicker was the bugs. There were dead ones in the corners of the room, and worst of all—there were bed bugs in the bed. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
I lasted less than an hour before I packed up and went to find a safer, cleaner hotel. I’m appalled to say that the property managers refused to issue a refund, despite the terrible conditions. This place is a health hazard and a safety risk. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this so-called motel. It’s not worth the risk to your health, safety, or peace of mind.
