The hotel is going through the renovation,so the signs of it are everywhere. The area is not that great, a lot of homeless folks there. The front desk is friendly and helpful. I didn't appreciate waiting for the FD clerk checking my room during my check out so I could get my 100$ deposit back . It would've taken much longer if the FD employee was busy with the guests .
The room was clean, stocked with towels, etc. , and the bed was comfortable. There were no black out curtains but the FD young lady brought them to the room. Frankly, the breakfast was poor. I believe, this hotel, with good intentions, could turn into a nice place. Until then ,$76/ night with $100 deposit is a bit too much
