The good, the bad, and the ugly… stayed with young family of 4 in 2 bedroom suite.
The resort itself is nice. The food is great (when served), beach and pool were nice, and the resort itself was very clean.
However, we would never go back. The service is abysmal. There are very few places to get a drink and there’s really only one bar to get a drink at night in the common lobby, where it would typically take a half hour each time to get served with chasing the limited staff down. Kids could not go up and get a drink themselves and after each time ordering anything you would need to sign a bill which often delayed the process and absolutely delayed things like being able to walk away from a buffet breakfast although you’ve already signed up for an all inclusive package. You were also limited to 3 drinks each time you went to get them. For example if I wanted 2 bottles of water, a beer, and a pop for your kid, they would not allow this, even if my two kids were there because kids did not count. Seems absolutely ridicious - but it’s their policy.
The resort itself is really tailored towards the timeshare clients. I ended up paying around $15 dollars CAD each time (45 total) just to use the gym. Never seen this not included in an all inclusive. There are also limitations to what menu items you can order in the sit down restaurants so it’s really not all inclusive.
The system is set up very poorly. There policies and service made it so we would never go back. Would avoid
