I usually stay at Hard Rock, but wanted to stay at Harrahs because they had a big tub so I could relax a bit. I was super excited for our stay. We arrived at 6pm and were told our room was given away, it’s a super busy weekend, instead we have a smoking room next to the ice machine for you. Take it or leave it. Pretty much it’s not their problem. Never had that experience before, when I book a hotel room, I expect it. I thought only airlines oversell. They comped us $50 in food. Room was ok, pillows small and underwhelming. Water pressure in shower was nice. Neighbors checked in at 12 am and partied until 4am, walls and connecting door thin. When leaving they tried charging us over $230 more than we owed, never credited the food (manager “forgot to put it on”, charged for parking even though we earned free parking when signing up for their card, tried to tell me a $150 charge was for taxes (it wasn't). And they have long lines getting out of the parking garage because it’s difficult to navigate their self automated system. I feel bad for their staff out there.
